I've never seen these in stores. I got the 4 Wave 1 figures at the toy show last month.

Believe it or not, my wife actually found the first wave at that Dollar General across the street from you (I assume you're referring to the one beside of Los Margaritas) and I never thought I'd see anything in that messy little store but she found them one evening. There's a much nicer Dollar General probably about ten minutes from you in the Falls River shopping center. The address is below. I saw wave 1 & 2 there at one point, but I'll be honest.. That's a very high foot traffic store.. You may be better off at the crappy location near you. I don't think too many people shop there.

TRU Gastonia has restocked with Wave 3.5 and it looked like they got three cases. Storm Shadow and Combat Ninja were all gone though.

I love that store. I didn't find the GI Joes there, but i did get a ton of their Military block sets, and the Mars HEROEs there. You live near me, then, because I'm in Wake Forest. I was JUST at that store 2 Saturdays ago.

Fayetteville TRU has wave 2 blind bag Kreo figures. No Bludd, BAT or EEL

Crowe Mag is a pretty cool little store. It's on Hillsborough Street downtown, but get directions before you go, cause it's tough to find. It's near the Waffle House in a little in-door mini-mall that doesn't have much going on. I would expect to pay $10 for Marvel figures there. Joes range from $8 to $35 (Bench Press, etc.) Their Joe stock has been pretty stagnant for a couple of weeks though. The guy that runs it also has a shop in the indoor part of the Flea Market at the Fairgrounds on Hillsborough Street every weekend. Also worth a look. Reasonable prices all around.

BTW, also check out Stuff n Such near South Hills Mall (ha, mall...) on Buck Jones Rd. in Cary. They don't have any Marvel U stuff, but they usually have a bunch of Joes at good prices.

thanks guys i have Thursday afternoon Friday Saturday off this week so i am gonna stop over to those shosp after a work event Thursday my work is taking us to Sparians Thursday so I'll be out during the day light hours i usually work third shift so i am somewhat limited sometimes but i think this weekend i may try to check out the flea market thing too.
edit, i just read the thing about the fair so i guess i am not going to the flea market until next month

Stuff N Such sold all of their Marvel U stuff??? They had a good bit when I last visited this summer. I was more interested in all of the Joe stuff. I kept passing-up on the Venom/Valor Mountain Playset.

a little off topic but is any one here going to NC COMIC CON, or has gone in the past. I know Outer Rim Toys is listed to be there, but how is the toy selection generally?
