Another fantastic score in light of the crappy news lately: just got the blue Cobra Commander and the blue GI Joe Trooper at K-Mart on Six Forks Road in Raleigh. Now I've got 2 of each type. Also got another Red Ninja and Cobra Trooper just for fun. Unbelievably, this store also had the Avengers wave 3 Hawkeye which I picked up. Didn't see a Black Widow, though.

In light of today's news concerning the next waves, I went by Walmart again and picked up Roadblock. He is by no means a perfect figure, but overall he's decent. Besides, I may not get a chance to own one for a while.

Wal-Mart in Apex has been cleared of anything good, which means nothing but Roadblock and Duke's left.

Kmart on Freedom has Roadblock, duke, SS, SE and joe trooper as well as the fangboat. $9.99 for the figs.

Wal-mart near Concord mills had some Retaliation figs. Snagged a Cobra and Joe Trooper.

Apex Target has one Fangboat/4x4 set left and two Hiss tanks/Ghost Hawks. Only figures left are Zartan/RB/SS/SE/Duke.

I hit 12 Dollar Generals in Lincoln and Cawtaba counties but only found one Black Cobra Commander. Oh well. The search continues.

I drove up to a town in Virginia today after work (I'm only 10 minutes from the border) and hit a walmart and dollar general. At walmart I snagged a Red Ninja, and then at dollar general I was surprised to find cobra commander, snake eyes, storm shadow, and shipwreck.

Overall not a bad day for finding joes.

Morganton Walmart had Duke,Zartan,and Snake Eyes along with the 2 bikes.They had tags for everything else but no product.The Morganton Kmart had Duke,Roadblock,Zartan and Snake Eyes for $9.99 each.They also had the bikes,Fangboat/4x4 for $14.99 each and role play toys.I picked up the Avengers wave 3 Black Widow and Hawkeye .The Spruce Pine Walmart had tags for the basic Joe figures but no product.
