I got out there earlier today. It was more like 1/3 toys and 2/3 cards. Once again, Charles had the most interesting selection of items. I bought a POC Crazylegs to open and also got a VvV Quickstrike and ROC Armored Panther. I never saw the Quickstrike back when VvV was out, and it's a pretty neat little vehicle. I also found from another dealer a 1:12 scale HK Mk23. I have a tendency to buy replicas of my guns to go with my figures. LOL.

It looks like the next show in Charlotte will be around Thanksgiving. I'm getting ready to purge a lot from my toy collection and depending on how the sales go (I'll be using the message boards here, TFW2005 and the Toyark) I might set up at that show. $65 for a 6 foot table is a little steep, but it may be worth it in the end.

I haven't tackled my Joe collection yet to figure out what I'll purge, but I'm sure I'll have lots of my loose 25th Anniversary collection parting ways.

Thanks to everyone that came out to the show and stopped by. I think I spent everything I made. I found some cool deals.

Unfortunately, there were some individuals at the show with some sticky fingers. I had an Apache Chief lifted and a few other vendors had some items stolen. Stealing is uncool whether the item is $5 or $50. I'm sure karma will kick the perps in the ass down the road, though.

If you are talking about the inside pitch show, good luck. We did our first and only inside pitch charlotte show back in April. The turnout was bad. The only good thing was the Marvel/DC collection I bought.

If you set up there, I hope it works out better for you.

I've set up at that show in the past and did really really well. It is very hit and miss though if you are looking for toys.

I think I purchased a few things from your booth @ the Heroes Con a few months back!

I live in Charlotte, NC and have no idea what shows you're talking about. What show did I miss this past weekend, and where are they usually advertised? ConCarolinas is the only show I ever hear about.

Metrolina Expo - Exit 16 off of I-77. Inside Pitch Promotions does a few toy/comic/trading card shows there each year. Next one in Charlotte is around Thanksgiving.

Ah, ok. I actually live 10 mins from Metrolina Expo, but the only thing I ever see or hear advertised is the gun show and occassionally the big flea market.

See that is part of the problem. A lack of advertising. There's a hobby show at least twice a year at the Metrolina and most people don't even know about it. But they know about that gunshow.

This has actually been our worst year for theft. I don't know if its b/c of the economy or some just think they deserve to have something for nothing. It was good to see you again Eddie.
