Not a single figure on the pegs at Cary TRU, so good job scalpers. Wasted time at Wal-Mart off of Wake Forest Rd. as well, one single 30th IG there and that's it.

Why do you attribute empty pegs to scalpers? Considering how much I like the latest wave I'm sure if I had found 5 or 6 full sets, I would have bought them all to keep.

Cary TRU has two pegs full.... of every 30th figure except Hazard Viper and Stalker.

"Scalper" is the throwaway term collectors use when they've driven all over and found nothing.

Luckily, these cases offer multiples of each figure. If four people find two cases, they can each get a set. Now it there is one case and an army builder finds them, they buy them all.

Blaming a lack of product on some mysterious "scalper" is just speculation without any evidence. Hot Wheels collectors have been known to buy action figures to trade for other stuff they want.

mumdb1, did you bother asking an associate at TRU if they had more stock? It appears they did since figures are on the pegs the day after your last post.

Ya Charles, asked the employee yesterday. "What we have in stock is what's on the floor", same answer as always.

Also, I was only using the term scalper loosely as the figures were spotted at TRU Cary days ago and nobody on this forum claimed to actually purchase any, so was assuming the lurkers here grabbed them all.

Maybe they received a truck. But you're probably right about the lurkers. There are plenty. Are you still missing any from that wave? If I come across them, I can always send them your way.

It's important to remember that the Cary TRU is servicing at least half of the Wake County area, so there are likely a lot of collectors (both online and off), casual shoppers, and *gasp* kids buying toys there in a given week. Considering that the Joes are brand new and TRU is the only place consistently carrying them, it's no surprise that they are selling out.

Anyway, I picked up a Cobra Trooper, Hazard Viper, and two Steel Brigades from Cary TRU this morning. I left 4 IGs and a Viper.

Brier Creek WM had one Vamp, and maybe four Black Dragon VTOLs. If you're still looking for the vehicles that store may be your best bet.

Most other WMs are dry, and Targets still have jack shit.

walmart in greensboro on wendover ave have all new joes except hazard viper, new vehicles and recent 2 wave's of marvel uni (falcon,cable ect).

Dropped in at the Henderson WM while traveling over the weekend and picked up 2 Stalkers, 2 IGs and 1 cobra trooper. In addition I found 2 Hydra soldiers out of the latest Captain America wave.
