North Carolina G.I. Joe Sightings

I found a full case of Wave 5 joes at the Wake Forest WM on Tuesday and cleaned out the army builders plus a Hawk and Blowtorch for a friend. I think they had one of each of CC, Hawk, and Blowtorch left this morning.

On Monday before leaving for Greenville I found a Steel Brigade and Jungle BAT at the Wal-Mart by Triangle Town Center. There was one Blowtorch and maybe a CC at that store this morning.

Ross by TTC mall had one of each of the Joe mechs, and a Cobra Fury.

TRU express in TTC mall has one Skydive on the shelf, plus some typical Joe pegwarmers.

I spotted Jack and his friend Shit at a few area Targets. They seem to love that particular chain.

Greenville stores had absolutely nothing of interest. The Target has only two pegs for Joes, and WM doesn't even have space for Joes or MU. Aside from getting in the Capt. America figures, I don't think the TRU has restocked since I left school in May. I feel bad for any Greenville area collectors, and I'm not looking forward to getting back there in the fall.

Wave 5 had Cobra Trooper, Steel Brigade, Blowtorch, Hawk, Cobra Commander, and the Jungle BAT. The Rock Viper was in wave 6... I could have the wave numbers mixed up, but I have been going by the wave numbers on Hasbro Toy Shop.

Heh. It never, ever fails how I leave town for whatever reason, and stores start putting things out when I can't get to 'em. LOL. Ah well, congratulations on the finds. The hunt shall go on!

I got a Sky Striker pulled from the back room at the Wake Forest Target. I'm guessing they are at most, if not all, Targets in NC. It's a very cool toy, though I wish Hasbro had gone with a more modern jet instead of an update of the F-14.

More than likely. I only got 1, and the guy who fetched it for me asked me how many more I wanted. I was a little surprised by this.
