I hit the New Hope Commons WM on 15-501 (Durham) today and they have nothing G.I. Joe whatsoever.

The Durham TRU has a pretty deep stock of ROC Arctic Destro and 2011 Wave 1 Duke and Storm Shadow. There were also quite a few of the "whirlwind kick" SE and SS, plus some of the battle mechs, an ice cutter, a ROC Arctic SE, a few neo-vipers, and a red fang ninja. I picked up a 2011 Wv1 Snake Eyes (the only one).

Same thing here, no more Joe's at Apex, Cary, and most of the Raleigh/Durham Wal-Marts. Ordering online now actually.

Checked Ross/Marshalls on Glenwood in Raleigh, as well as Brier Creek Wal-Mart/Target/Ross/TJMaxx, nothing new, save your gas.

Target at Brier Creek did have two Captain America Red Skulls if those are of any interest.

Gentlemen, I am officially giving up on Wal-Mart.

I was on the road for work on Sunday and took a pit stop at a WM in Waltersboro, SC for kicks. This Walmart was at LEAST 3 city blocks in size. I have never seen anything like it! You walk in the front door and can't see the back of the store.

But alas...not a single Joe, even at Super-Duper-Duper-Walmart.

Wal-Marts in this area are very inconsistent - even for Wal-Mart - when it comes to carrying GI Joe. I've seen POC at the New Bern Ave., Wake Forest Road, Triangle Towne Center, and Brier Creek stores. Don't recall having seen them anyplace else. Target stores around here still have so many pegwarmers that I don't see how they can restock anytime soon. I'm really beginning to consider ordering online until I see a much bigger turnaround than this.
