Score! While on the way to Charlotte, I stopped in Winston-Salem at the TRU and found Bench Press and a Snow Serpent. Shockingly, I also saw only the second Pit Commando I've ever seen "in the wild."

I also got 2 Star Wars battlepacks, the Geonosis Assault and the AT-TE Assault Squad. I had really hoped that this TRU would have the TIE Interceptor, but no luck on that one.

Yeah, the W-S TRU has tons of the Snow Serpent - Bench Press exclusives, a couple of PIT commandos and 3-4 Helixes.

They are not afriad to put out 16 of each of the exclusives.

Axe, I still have your SRO Destro. If you happen across another Benchpress and Snow Serpent, I'd like to add those to my collection.

I picked up City Strike Duke and Jungle Assault Ripcord last night. Not all that exciting. When did Duke use a katana? And when is Hasbro going to add sheathes for knives? I hate accessories that don't have a place to go. And what is with the gun that looks cut off in the front?

Damn. Wish I had known this, as I stopped back at the same TRU again on the way home and had them return my whole transaction so that I could take advantage of the $5 off of $25 coupons I found on Slickdeals. I'll keep my eyes open at the Cary TRU, but I won't be headed there until the middle of the week.

Anybody else get a Bench Press that has only one kneepad colored black? I thought I got a paint error, but all of the ones in the store were this way.

Wow I did not even notice this until I read your post. I just picked up Bench Press and 5 snow serpents yesterday. The Bench Press I have only has one kneepad painted black as well. I'm up in VA. so this must be a major paint app. error on Hasbros part. If they do a 2nd production run of figures maybe they will fix it.

I picked up all of wave 5 yesterday. I don't like how the pistols and weapons don't have holsters either. The 25th figures were much better about that! As far as Duke's cut in half gun goes I was wondering the same damn thing! Why in the hell would anyone go into battle with a cut in half gun? Also what's up with the ninja weapons he comes with?

I finally saw my first Y-Wing Bomber last night. If this were the 80's that sucker would have gone home with me. But for $70 I had to leave it on the shelf. Pisses me off!

Duke's gun is based on a real world weapon with the barrel recessed into the gun. I don't remember the name though. As far as Bench Press's knee, they're all like that. He uses Heavy Duty's legs, which also has one kneepad, so they probably used the same paint application process as well.

Thanks for the info. MrClean. A recessed barrel that makes sense. This way the rifles more compact and light weight. However I still think it's an ugly rifle. Do you by chance know what real world weapon it's based off of?
