Anybody in the Raleigh area seen Paris Baroness or a Para-Viper? I'd love to find 'em before the week's out so I can take advantage of the TRU 2/$10.99 sale. Been hitting Target at North Hills and in Knightdale along with Wal-Mart on New Bern with regularity, but no luck so far.

It's been a while since I posted but there's not been a lot to tout. I've had the figures you've all been searching for in stock but how can I expect you guys to pony up $8-$10 each when TRU has RoC figures at 2 for $10.99.

Plus, I need to get the site back up so I don't look like such a slacker.

Anyway, I did want to pass along a few pics of the latest addition to my collection.





I've been after this set since I heard about them from the Canadian GI Joe Convention earlier this year. I have set #97 of 100. Not that I mind the set from this year's JoeCon but this really puts the exclusive in a con exclusive.

Received an email early Saturday saying my Site to Store order for the WM RoC 2 Packs arrived.

First, let me state that WM packs about as well as Hasbro Toy Shop. I guess I really shouldn't complain since this is a free service. Thankfully, I'm an opener and bent cards are not the end of the world.

Second, I really like the figures. Sure they are a bunch of repaints with Monkey Wrench and Resolute Gung-Ho included. Still, I look at it as a continuation of the 25th/Modern line. Just in that crappy RoC packaging. I also think several of those blue Night Creepers will go nicely with the one from the 7-Pack.

Plus, you get stickers and a tattoo.

Mr. Darth, is there any chance that you will be selling those Star Wars Turbo Tanks? (The big $100 vehicle.) I have money set aside for a couple, but I'd rather support small business if that option is available. Target gets enough of my paychecks...

I've seen the $25 Dragonfly (Helicopter w/ wild Bill), Ice Dagger, and that red Cobra jet at several Wallys around the Raleigh area. Targets seem to be behind on those. There seems to be a slowdown in new figure shipments. I'm not seeing nearly as many restocks as I was at the beginning of the month. I shall remain vigilant with the Para-Viper wave, and I'll post here if I find those figures.

Cary Wal-Mart has the Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow 12inch exclusives (with the Bikes). I got one of each, still not sure why. Nothing else there, still waiting on those 2 packs :(

Found the walmart 2-packs today! The Walmart on Elm-Eugene St. had them in Greensboro. I almost missed them because they were n a tray up on the top shelf, and hard to reach. it looks like the tray holds 4 sets (I think). $13.96.

Found the Wal-Mart two packs at Cary Wal-Mart as well, passed on them though.

Anyone in the Raleigh area do any plastic recasting? I have a very simple project in mind, but I wouldn't know where to start.
