Nothing much to report right now. My rep said that the Joe Collector 5 Packs will not be out until mid to late February. Sorry for the delay but I can only twist Hasbro's arm so much.

I've noticed that most Targets are completing or have completed their reset. Those are some bleak looking pegs. I have some revision wave figures I'll sell them for cheap.

For those that are interested. I will have my first shipment of Takara Transformers soon:

i saw 2 wave 12 cobra troopers and a ripper at the mooresville super target. has anyone found tunnel rat and shockwave other than in apex? or wave 12?

I left a Destro/SB and Tunnel Rat/SS at the Target at triangle town Center on Monday evening. No new singles there.

I picked up both Destro/Shockblast and TR/SS at the Target in Cornelius. They only had one of each. No new singles though.

BTW, theres one UBP left on the clearance shelf for $38.48 and I'm really torn on whether or not to buy it. Money isn't really the issue on this decision, but whether or not I really want all the reissued figures and vehicles. I really just want the Short Fuse figure. Is it worth buying? Any advice?

The rumor is that tomorrow (thursday) they're hitting 50% off. That would put them at about $27.

I checked High Point Target today. The Joe set was still 30% off, but all the other stuff was either 30, 50 or 75% off all mixed together. Other things of note...They had the exclusive Yellow Animated Ratchet set marked down to $4.74. And the Bat-Pods were $5! Just a mix of stuff. YMMV at other Targets.

Went to Rocky Mount last night and saw that the UBP is indeed down to $27 and change. I'm almost tempted to get one now. They also had the 25th Optimus Prime for $35, and I kinda regret passing on it. Went to Target at North Hills today and they too have the UBP down to $27, but no Optimus Prime was to be found.

Out of curiosity, is there anyplace here in Raleigh which carries Neca figures? I know TRU has a very few of them (mainly the Gears of War figures), but I'm seriously jonesing for a Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden as well as Nathan Spencer from Bionic Commando. Actually, not that I could find them in stores anymore, but I'd also jump on the chance to get a Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 4 as well as both masked and unmasked Wolf Predator from AVP Requiem. Finally saw the movie and while it was only mildly OK, that Predator is the baddest one in the films yet. Oh, and one more - my wife's best friend would love the have the Dread Pirate Roberts from The Princess Bride. (Any time I see the ladies interested in a toy... well, you know the rest.)

I was at Lawndale Target last night and they were set up like this. However, all the good items were still only 30% off. I picked up a Marvel Legends Black Spidey for $2.48 but passed on 3 3/4" Dark Knight figures for $4.80.

The lowest I've seen the UBP is $38 and change, most stores still have 2-5 of them each
