My mom and aunt actually tried finding some new figures for me @ local retail, but weren't very successful. I did manage to get another Para-Viper and my first Cobra EEL though for Christmas. Outside of that it was audio/video bliss...more DVDs, video games and CDs than I can shake a stick at! (just where does that commonly used phrase come from?!)

The UBP is down to $55 at the Burlington Target. Not much else to report today, except the Big Millenium Falcon is $75 at Walmart, so I finally got one!

Man, you guys definitely have more stock here, even though it's not what I'm looking for.

The TRU in Gastonia had the new fixed-arm Breaker and Clutch vehicles, we have YET to get that in CA in mass quantities. I would have snagged them, but I don't trust the airlines to not destroy them on my flight back.

Also, downtown Charlotte Target (or is it Uptown? I haven't lived in the Charlotte/Gastonia area in nearly 8 years) had the Snake Eyes/HM series of CPs, which have YET to show up in the Northern California area...

It's ridiculous, we have the same crap everywhere, so it excited me to at least see something different for once, even though I haven't found anything.

One question, the CA Targets are on a Sunday/Wed schedule for their Joes being put on the floor, is there any "better" day to check here?

By the way, I miss Walmarts, and I never thought I'd say that. Especially 24-hour stores. The ONE within a 20-mile radius of me closes at 10 every night, and is TINY.

Super Target in Kannapolis/Concord has the Snake Eyes/Hard Master comic pack, a couple Mainframe/Beachhead, UBP for $55.99 and I snagged their only Scrap Iron/Wild Bill. Joy! Also picked up the Viper/IG pack at Kannapolis WM. Only other thing they had of any note at all was Ninja-Ku.

Oh, Concord WM has a w13 Torch, but his hair paint starts roughly 1/3 inch above where it should be. Ridiculous. Grabbed the Dreadnok CP instead. And this just ticked me off, at the University WM there was a w13 Firefly....cardback. Some jackoff stole the figure, and it looked sliced, not ripped. That's the work of an adult. And they STILL have that Ace/WW CP that Ace got stolen out of on the peg.

Went around yesterday looking for some clearance deals and I was sorely disappointed. The best deal seemed to be at Kernersville Target with the UBP for $44 (Target on Wendover had it for $54) and Indy figures for $3.80
Wal-Mart in Kernersville had nothing on clearance. K-mart on Wendover had Joes and Military toys for 10% off but since they really don't have any Joes other than a vehicle pack or two, it's kinda pointless

I also found DVD set 5 at Wendover Wal-Mart, but alas since K-Mart seems to have nothing, it looks like the 2000 Rah swapper has switched stores. The set had the Camera, no claw and 4 2000 - 2001 figures. I took it up to the customer service desk to see if they would cut me a deal since I wanted the camera (Mine didn't have legs) and after talking with the ignorant (as in she doesn't have toy knowledge) lady I left infuriated. I calmly explained what happened, that someone bought it, took what they wanted then returned it with different figures. She decided that since the tape looked untouched (as if no one could peel it off and put it back) that I must be wrong and apparently the wearhouse (Which doesn't package these toys) must have accidentally put in 8 year old toys they just happened to have laying around. The lady basically came off as if she knew what she was talking about and I must be a poor confused customer who obviously knows nothing of what he buys. I should have just asked to talk to a manager but she pissed me off so much I just left. I could understand her saying "Sorry, we can't offer any discount on it" and I would have been ok, but it was the whole refusal to believe the truth that got to me. I want to start going to stores and try to return blatent repacks and when they refuse or accept them, I'll then break character and inform them of what just happened. Kind of like what the police do with people who sell cigarettes to underage kids.
