It was fairly dry on 25th Joes when I left in January, but there's been an explosion since then with all the new stuff. 2008's been a kickass year for us, despite all our bitching. Where I moved to in CA is chock full of nerds, and our distribution sucks, so it's hard to find much at retail right now.

Anyways, just a hi, and a heads up if anyone could meet up over the Christmas time while I'm back home. I joined the 'Tank when I was already moved to CA, so I kind of missed the chance to do much Joe-hunting in my native land.

(BTW, not to steal a thread or crash a party... Tell me to EFF off if that's my place. Also, didn't realize there were so many active NC Tankers!)

Please let us know when you're in town. I can't say how hunting will be here but you might find some new stuff. Seems that a lot of stores around here went from wave 10 or 11 to 13.

BTW, I have no problem with you jumping in on the NC posts. The wife and I love San Francisco. It's just too expensive to move there. So we take a trip out there at least once a year. Great city!!!

You're correct on the Rattler stickers, Axelay. I guess I spoke to soon. I may check into getting better ones for them.

SF is a great city, I work there and live in Silicon Valley, but I miss the Raleigh/Durham area (Where I used to live/work, respectively). Also, it seems that, although California seems to be a hot spot in L.A., the Northern California area is just dryer when it comes to Joes. You guys get a LOT more action there. I've been snooping on the NC sightings off and on, and you're killing us!

So when I'm in for Christmas, I'll definitely be hunting. I missed ordering Blowtorch on BBTS, so unless it lands on HTS anytime soon, it'll be more likely for me to snag it in NC than here. SRO Wave 2 sets have YET to hit the NorCal area. 1 or 2 sightings, but I've never seen them on shelves.

BTW, I really miss Bojangle's, Chick-Fil-A, and sweet tea.

Mandingo - you may find more luck in Gastonia than Raleigh (or at least in the triad on the way between the two) for the newest stuff. It is only because I took a serious break from buying figures in the last few months that I have not been too disappointed from the toys I've found once I picked up again after Thanksgiving.

Statesville Walmart has finally got wave 10 and 11. Tonight I picked up a Wraith, Zartan and his baby swampskier, and Flint in Cobra disguise.

I left behind a Matt Trakker, TF Duke, and a Pilot Scarlett.

On Saturday I had picked up the Pilot Scarlett, the most awesome Paraviper, and I finally found my 3rd BAT at Hickory Target. There they have an endcap with 6 UBPs and 4 Rattlers and 4 Conquests, plus they had some on the aisle. They only figures were TF Dukes, V2 Roadblocks, and surprisingly Wild Bills.

I also left behind a Croc Master at Mooresville SuperTarget today.

Monroe WM had several BATS, Snow Serpents, etc. Cobra Flint, Resolute CC & Cobra Troopers, Croc, Wraith, etc. I didn't look through all of them but they had tos of Joes! Saw the Pyramid 5-pack with Quick Kick as well.
