I'm still waiting for Hasbro to ship my cases but I have a hard time passing up figures I don't have. If anyone has trouble finding these, I'll offer wave 6 cps to fellow NC Tankers for $8.99 each once my cases arrive.

(I saw 2-3 Mutts and most the other figures, but there was also Battle Armor CC) W-S Target (By Hanes Mall) Same old, same old BTW Both Targets had Conquests and Rattlers (I didn't look closely at the W-s one so I really only saw a Conquest, But I assume there's a Rattler there too) |

After having been out of town for a few days and then having to teach over the weekend, I finally got a chance to open comic packs 3,4, and 5 as well as all of wave 11. The very first comment I can make is that I am truly becoming sick and tired of the cheap quality plastic that is being used on some of these toys. Out of the 16 Joes and Cobras which are currently standing on my desk:
- 3 of them have one elbow joint which will not move (Serpentor, Duke, Flint) - 2 of them have serious shoulder joint problems (Quick Kick, Alpine) - 1 of them had a head which was on too tightly, and it snapped right off (Cobra Commander) I'd love to know how many of you may have had these problems and how you resolved them. Heat? Boiling? I'd be afraid they would melt into their component Play-Doh. I can't tell you how angry I got when Cobra Commander's head came right off as I was trying to turn it. I honestly wasn't applying an excessive amount of force, as I've had enough of these Joes which had joint problems that I know to be careful with them lest they break. Serpentor and screaming Duke went right into a storage bag and were replaced by previous better looking incarnations. (I was highly disappointed that Serpentor's hood doesn't come off, as I was hoping to add it to the first release and be much happier with it. The helmet is a huge improvement, though.) In some other general observations, I find that Alpine needs a little work in the accessories department to be as awesome as he used to be. For starters, that rifle he came with will just not do. He used to carry a Beretta M12 SMG (which I believe is still in use in Italy - makes sense for a climber to have this weapon), and so a suitable replacement is called for. I have already considered hunting down the vintage M12 as well as the grappling hook gun, but for now, the outstanding Marauder MP7 fits perfectly in the holster. No kidding, it's like it was made for Alpine. Dusty earns top marks for all of the figures from the comic packs, with Alpine coming in second. Major Bludd seems to be a big improvement, and Snake Eyes looks better than I'd originally thought. The stinker of the group is Quick Kick, though. WTF, Hasbro. If his pack fit in a better way and his eyes weren't so bugged out, he'd be a pretty good figure. The chopping hand doesn't bother me as much as some others. All members of wave 11 are really very nice. Aside from Flint, I had no problems with any of them. I can't decide if top honors of the wave should go to Airborne or the EEL. |

My Cobra Commander had a sticky elbow (As in non moving) I put it under hot water, then in the freezer for a little bit, tryed moving it again, ran it under more hot water, then used a knife and ran the blade around the joints, finally it loosened up and moves fine.
My biggest problem is with parts not being packaged as I've had 3 this month have something missing. BTW I forgot to mention that yesterday Walmart on Wendover had a Firebat and Tan AWE Striker. They were still there today when I grabbed Hellboy II The boxes for the vehicles are threashed though, looks like a steel bar was dropped on the case as the sides on both vehicles were crushed the same way |

Sorry to hear about the problems. I've run across a few sticky joints as well but been able to work most of them out.
The truly sad part, Hasbro will most likely not replace the broken/missing items. The best they'll probably do is offer to replace the items with something "similar".

Yeah, my Quick Kick's arm was broken, and that was was the response I got from Hasbro's customer service.
