I saw a few of those Acid Storms at Kohls on Thursday. I hadn't heard of him, but then I haven't been keeping up with my Transformers for a while now.

I picked up Acid Storm and Galvatron the other day. I've only picked up 4 of the deluxe so far, including Prowl and Sunstreaker. I've been happy with them so far until I started transforming Galvy. For some reason, his joints are really loose and he isn't as "sturdy" as the other 3. I would have preferred him in his original cannon look.

Acid Storm is one of the "generic seekers" from the More Than Meets the Eye cartoon mini-series...though he was depicted in his Cybertronian jet form on the show.

I figured those were paint errors I'd like to see them do a Thundercraker in retail though.


Been seeing a lot of wave 9 left overs. Seems Ninja-Ku is starting to peg warm around here now

I've seen wave 9 and wave 4 and 5 comic packs all over. All Walmarts in Statesville, Salisbury, Mooresville, Talyorsville, Conover and Hickory have them. So do the Targets in both Mooresville and Hickory.

Everybody gets the all the BATS. They've been leaving a few of the Snow Serpents, though. I was able to score the one and only BAT in Salisbury WM.

TRU in Hickory has started a reset, but the GI Joe situation is still the same as always, couple lonely CC's and a Buzzer and some old comic packs.

I picked up Galvatron and it reminded me why I never used to collect Transformers. Tough to transform, loose, and bad scale.

Didn't really see anything new Joe today in Greensboro, but I did manage to get quite a few Prince Caspian toys at 75% off!

Kernersville target had them really cheap earlier this week (I haven't looked recently) I got the Trebuchet/catapult for about $5!

I got that, plus the werewolf pack and some single carded figures including Castle Escape Caspian (aka future custom WW3 Agent Delta head).

Now if only they had the castle at 75% off!

Got a chance to do some hunting today in the hopes of finding a black mask Destro. Sadly, I came away completely empty handed! I did see the Tripwire and Cobra Commander pack at Wal-Mart in Garner, but that's the only new thing I saw anywhere. I'm hoping to get all 3 packs at the same time, so I left it on the peg.
