I just opened up a set of the wave 5 comic packs. I like the figures but I'm not really pleased with Hasbro's cost cutting methods. As mentioned in Shogi's review, Falcon is missing a pistol. Luckily I have a few extras. Plus, CC is missing a revolver. He has CG legs with "holster" but they failed to pack the revolver.

I really can't believe that producing these small accessories is breaking Hasbro's bank. Time to crank out some accessory packs to fill these gaps, Hasbro.

BTW, Nemesis is pretty cool. Now I just need to figure out how to have both back accessories on him at the same time.

wilmington: last night target had all but the Hiss for vehicles, wal mart still had a couple of the dvd packs as of 7:00 today and TRU has an abundance of tired old wave 7 crap and 98074+ old comic packs.

Went to every North Eastern NC wal mart today. Every one (except 1, which didn't have a spot for them on the reset paper) had 2 of each DVD pack and one of each vehicle. Only two locations had single carded figures, one python officer and 2 cobra vipers. I missed one location. No wave 4 or 5 comic packs anywhere yet. This was a total of 5 walmarts. Let me know if anyone needs anything. I need wave 5 comic packs including the varient.

Wild Bill, SE (Wave 7), and a Flash missing his helmet and backpack. There was a carded Serpentor that was repacked with the one from the Vehicle pack. Stupid thieves.

I'll add that the Wal-Mart in west Gastonia and Toys R Us also had nothing that hasn't been wasting up shelf space for weeks (months?), except that I finally saw a dvd pack---the MASS Device. I wonder if they are waiting for those comic packs to disappear before they put more out... and I fear I'll have to suffer through wave 4 before they finally put out the wave I do want (5, obviously). GI Joes don't seem to get as much love by retailers as the Transformers.
