Thanks for at least understanding guys. I'm sure we'll all get better acquainted with each other in time.

Saw the repacked single carded Duke the other day and it still had the slit wrists. I haven't been to stores since Monday this week and I saw that Duke at the Riverdale Target. I didn't check for UBPs then. I was going to buy a few more but think I'll pass.

Still a few UBPs out there, so if any scalpers are following this thread they are either slow or don't care. Wife bought 2 and mother in law (!) got 1 today (the last at Fridley location) so I have now ended up with 6, more than I really want. Time to start a BST thread I guess. Some were 13.74 some were 15.74. Was going to return with the 15 dollar reciept and just get the $2 but may as well sell to someone on here for cost + tax rather than bring back to Target if there is no trade interest after a couple weeks.
Did not check any other locations today - the St. Paul University one had only pilot Scarlett and Cobra Flint for single cards. Had Deep Six/RocknRoll and Shipwreck/Copperhead comic packs but didn't want to pay 10 bucks for RnR. |

Ha ha, I got the last UBP at Fridley Friday night. The clearance section was empty besides the one UBP, but I know why it was passed up, the H.I.S.S. driver's head was missing. Oh and the sticker price was 31.48, but it checked out at $15.74. Anyway, I found the head inside the packaging. Now I have 10 UBPs. The Mobat was/is one of my favorite Joe vehicles and you can never have too many Hiss tanks.

There is a guy in Hugo reselling UBPs on Craigslist for $30. I think I know who it is and I've replied to 2-3 of his ads for vintage Joe stuff and it was nothing but a waste of time. Not sure why he continues to post.
I hate craigslist. |

Wow. A tad excessive - no? Still $15 for the UBPs is a great deal and I stopped at two. Couln't bring myself to army build - but it would have been nice if there was another set like the Star Wars ones.

In any case all sightings should be taken with a grain of salt. I would bet that a few UBPs will show up on the shelves over the next couple weeks as people return ones they bought for $27 or whatever. |

In the southern metro I've only seen a few UBPs remaining at the southtown Target. Edina and Richfield are sold out. (However, I did see some lady buy the last pack for her son who looked to be around 10...so it's nice to see the kids get in on the action, too.)
I'm still waiting to see the latest wave of vehicles and comic packs in the stores...hopefully a Tunnel Rat will be mine soon. Foundation: I think I might be up for some sort of meeting. Hell, I could probably just stop in at your SW monthly meeting. I collect the Legacy Collection Original Trilogy figs, so there is some crossover...anyone else here collect SW as well? As a sidenote, I went to high school with Arctic Ackbar...but I'm not really sure how well he remembers me. Railway: if you are interested, I have the new comic pack Rock N Roll and I have no interest in it. I only wanted the Deep Six. If you are up for a trade or purchase, let me know. (Or if there are any other figs or army-builders you want, I'm sure we can work something out. |
