This is a long shot but...
I'm looking for the elusive Best of the 80's DVD set. I'm willing to reimburse, plus gas and some free passes to a comedy show! |

Found a pile of UBPs for $15.74 last night. Was just going to buy another just for the red HISS so I'd have 2 of each color, but decided to keep the other tank and the troopers. Sorry but I don't know any of you and I don't know if you guys are scalpers so I'll post locations only after I've had my fill.

I also found the UBPs for the same price. I wish I knew what friggin' area that was in. Since Foundation doesn't want to share, I'll give you guys the directions I took last time: 35W North to uh..10? 10 to 14? Some target around there. Champlain area? I hope I'm saying that right! Oh, now for my sightings: Wal*Mart in Vadnais Heights (right off of 35E) seems to be the WM that time forgot. There's a ton of re-carded stuff like Snake Eyes w/ Timber, Flash, Major Bludd, etc. They also had a ton of wave 9 stuff. Enjoy & happy hunting! |

I just found the UBP for $13.75 (or so) at the downtown Target. (I can be a team player ;) ) I wanted it for under $20...but I am ecstatic that I got it closer to $10!
I think there are at least 4 or 5 left. At this point, if someone really wants to scalp it (and I don't know why they would; it's a terrible set that only has 1.5 decent figs and 1 decent vehicle) I say so be it. Good luck, everyone! |

Sorry - I've been part of a tight 20 to 30 group of Star Wars guys for the past 8 years or so and my site doesn't let any crackjob view store reports without a) being an active contributor and b) being watched by a mod to see what exactly they're looking at. Do you know how many people are reading these store reports??Hot Wheel guys love checking out store finds on sites that aren't "protected" Plus I don't know any of you.
Just thought I'd join a Joe site since getting back into these toys. Discussions can only go so far on a Star Wars site about Joes. I have my hotspots and I'm not about to just blurt it out for the entire Metro to take over. Maybe I'll change my ways in the future though. |

No worries, Foundation. We're just busting your chops. We're also a pretty tight knit group (Tankers, that is...I've only been a Minnesotan for 3 months!).
I completely understand wanting to keep your stash closely guarded...but the only way I will forgive is if you find me a Resolute Destro/Shockwave comic pack! - Erick |

I echo what CIAD says. No offense was meant.
And I'm assuming you are also grouped with the JediDefender crew. I sometimes post there. Overall, however, I don't get the feeling that there are a lot of scalpers following either MN thread. Anyway, I appreciate your posting. At the very least, we get a better picture of what's happening in the Twin Cities area! |

I went to 3 Targets last night and today and each one has the latest revision wave.
Fridley Target - Tripwire Brooklyn Center Target - PP Crimson Guard & BH Destro comic pack I had no problem finding UBPs for $15.74. I bought the last few at the Quarry Target. Brooklyn Center Target is sold out and Fridley still has them for $29. I don't believe there are a lot of scalpers checking this site. With the economy and multiple revision waves, the 25th line doesn't have a lot of value except for a few impossible to find items. Also, if you can't find it in the stores, you can get it at HTS. When I find something new, rare or discounted I either buy it, or tell your guys where to get it. Last edited by Vesta; 01-29-2009 at 08:03 PM.. |

The above exchange finally got me off the fence to register and post. I just got back into Joes after Xmas and found this site a couple weeks ago. Thanks to this thread I was able to get a beachhead and a firefly - yes I'm new - and always felt kind of obligated to post something back in return, but didn't have much to add.
Anyway as of 7 or so tonight there were still 5 UBPs for 13.74 at Woodbury Target (I bought 2), none at the OPH one, and nothing at the east side one off white bear ave. I would guess by tomorrow they will be sold out everywhere. Will check a couple stores on the way to work Friday and let you know what I find. Also asked a couple family members if they would check their closest Targets as well and buy another if they find it. |
