Well, I was at the Stapleton Wal-mart earlier today and I'm really doubting that Walmarts will be getting any new vehicles anytime soon. That store and others are packed with the first wave of vehicles. There's no room to place any new vehicles.

Wave 2 of the TRU SRO packs hit Springs. Got 1 of each, plus a extra IG/Destro pack.

Where is everyone? I've noticed this thread has been dying off. Have you guys cooled off the hunt? Are you adjusting your purchasing practices do to the economy or has your interest in Joes kind of cooled off?
Personally, I'm kind reaching the end. I'm running out of space for this stuff and work has me really busy with a Huuuuuge project. Hopefully, when I get this thing done I'll be able to move back to Joes. What about you guys? And where is wave 10 or the new DVD packs? Also, anyone find the new SROs again here in Denver? Gaelinic

Gaelinic As for the SRO packs, I've hit the Aurora toys a few times in the last few weeks and haven't seen them again. They did restock wave 1 last week yet again. |

Speaking for myself I have had more luck trading figures with other tank members than finding much of anything in stores. Also, IMO I think the earlier waves look better than the new stuff coming out.
I think I have posted on here before that I am still pretty new to collecting the 25th line so if anyone has any of the earlier figures they are willing to trade or sell I would be very interested. In addition I am planning a trip back home next month and have hundreds of the original ARAH figures and vehicles that I am sure are in need of repair. Is anyone around here good at fixing the old figures? I would be willing to pay you for your time. Thanks |

I'm with Mongoose. I ordered a lot of the recent stuff online. The only thing I have bought in the stores recently was the jets. The hunt just isn't as fun anymore. When Wal-Mart and Target stocked just enough and not huge amounts you could find new stuff but not anymore. I heard from a fellow tanker that Wave 2 & 3 vehicles were in Fort Collins. I am still looking for Wave 2 of the SRO. I want the sea and air but up north they haven't arrived yet.
On a side note does $30 seem like a good deal for a W.H.A.L.E. with it only missing Cutter and a couple of depth charges? I think it is a steal and will probably buy it. |

My hunting days have decreased more and more over time. I still buy a few Joes (when I find them), but as I've mentioned before, if I can't find it at the store when I go for groceries, then I'm simply not going to hunt for it (or order off the net). It's just not that important to me anymore.
A few years ago, I was hitting stores every single day. Now, I just don't have the motivation or the energy. Lately, I've gone back and forth on simply giving up on toys. It's not that the product isn't cool or anything. These are probably the best Joes ever. But the prices, the time spent hunting, the rarity of the 25th figures--it's all kind of a turn off. |

I've resorted to just buying the Joe singles online. I NEVER find anything anymore, so I've basically stopped hunting for now.
No new Joes, no DCUC, no Indy TOD wave, no Marvel Legends, I cannot find anything. It's a waste of time anymore. I haven't found anything new in months. Ridiculous. I'm sure I'll get back into the hunt at some point, but I'm too busy and have too much going on to drive around all day. :( |

I've pretty much been caught up on everything, so I haven't been hunting too much, until all the new exclusives hit. Wave 10 & 11, and the new DVD packs all are coming from online places. Fang & Shark are the only things I'm missing. Indy ToD wave is coming from HTS, minus Temple Guard & Willie. So I've been catching up on my Star Wars collecting. Did see the new Marvel Legends Wal-Mart Exclusives today.
