Anyone found the Toys R Us Exclusive 5-packs in Denver?

I'm in Albuquerque for work and found the motherload of TRU packs on my first try. They have two TRUs here. I went to both. At the second one, they sold out of Crimson Guard 5-packs and had 3 greenshirts available. However, the first store I went to had no less than 15 Crimson Guard packs in store with an equal amount of Greenshirts. If it hasn't already, I'm sure this will hit stores here like a hurricane. If this ABQ store is any indication, there will be plenty to go around. Other than that, the stores here don't have any new joes or the target exclusives.

Before leaving CO, I did see Target restocking the wave 5 comic packs. I ran into a Tanker at the Aurora Target around 9:00 a.m. on Thursday on my way out of town. You were going to Tucson and said you don't really post here but keep tabs on everything going on around town. If you're reading this, post a greeting and help a brother out if you see anything around town.

Next time I head out, I'll let you guys know and see if there's anything you need that we don't have here in town. I travel a lot with work and take advantage of doing massive runs on my downtime. You know, that way I don't have to drag the kids or family around with me so I can spend quality time with them. My next trip is to Phoenix. Everytime I hit that place, there are tons of hard-to-find Joes and other figures belonging to other lines falling off the pegs.

Oh, if anyone's interested, I saw the 12" Halo figures and lots of Last Crusade figs at the Walmarts in New Mexico. I also saw a few TRU Disturbance at Lars Homestead packs at Toys R Us. I don't collect any of these lines but they really do catch your eye.

Anyone finding the Marvel Legends Red Hulk figures?

Still looking for those wave 5 comic packs. Grenadiers, Tripwire, etc. Seems like they hit once and never again.

I saw a white-bordered Flash at 6th/Wads Wal-Mart yesterday. I think that case also has a re-carded Bludd but I did not see it.

Yeah the revision wave 9 has Bludd, Flash, BAT, Snow Serpent, BBQ, Hawk, Bazooka, and Ninja Ku-saw them at WM. Target is getting comic pack revision, mixture of wave 4 & 5, but without the Tripwire/CC & Nemesis/Falcon packs. Last week I saw the remains of the Target ML Exclusives at 2 different stores, but nothing since.

Finally found wave 5 comic packs. they had grenadier and tripwire at 140th target, again at westy TRU, and they had falcon at sheridan/70th wal-mart. so Im caught up for now!

Hey everyone... I'm new to the area and just started collecting the 25th Joes about a month ago. I was wondering if any of you knew where I could find the earlier waves and maybe the best places to find the current sets? So far I have had the best luck at the K-Mart stores around town! Any help would be great

Get yourself to the King Soopers on Monaco and Evans. You can find Wave 4 figs on the shelves. I bought the Storm Shadow figure.

At Ross, TJ Max, and possibly Tuesday Mornings; you may still be able to find Cobra Legion, the regular Cobra 5-packs, and the Joe packs. I just found another Cobra Legion pack at Ross this past Tuesday for $5.99. Not bad.

I've also seen Joe and both Cobra packs at K-marts and Sears Essentials for $25 or $27.99.

Other than that, I haven't really seen anything around town. However, some of the earlier figs aren't that much more than retail on ebay. You may be able to find people selling their sets or collections off. I've looked and you could probably purchase them close to the retail price, including shipping costs.

If you're looking to pay more, there's a store in Westminster around the corner from the Toys R Us that has older figures at premium prices. The name of the store is a few pages back in this thread.

There's another comic shop in Federal Heights, off of Federal and 92nd or 104th that sells GI Joes. He may have some older ones at premium prices. I think it's called Time Warp.

Welcome to the area! You moved here from Oklahoma I'm guessing?! I'm not aware of any stores that have a bunch of the older stuff hanging around still. Maybe one of the shops like Superhero Headquarters would have some, but expect high prices there.

Thanks for the help... I'll have to check some of those places out. By the way I have been to the store on 104th and Federal (Free Time Comics I think) They are going out of business and are having a store wide sell from Wed. thru Sunday. The last time I was there they did not have much as far as G.I. Joe goes but I know many of you collect other figures. Just thought I would let everyone know
