I found the remains of wave 9 at Southlands; there were 2 of each save for the BATs and Snow Serpents. :(

Vehicles finally hit Springs. Hit 4 WM's and between 3 of them, got the RAM Pack, Armadillo Pack, 2 BATS, and 2 Snow Serpents.

I hit a few more stores and found nothing. But two of my buddies found the DCUC wave 2 in Walmarts finally, so keep an eye out! I NEED that classic Aquaman!!!

I'm getting discouraged here. To the point that I'm considering just giving up on this collection. Has anyone found any wave 9 Joes in Denver after the initial wave hit last week? I was out of town then. But I haven't seen anything.

I only got back into toy collecting because of the 25th Annivesary figs. It seemed at first I could find these things all over the place. Maybe I'm not savvy enought about toy collecting but has this series just become too big for its own good? Has it grown in popularity that now it's difficult even to find any decent figs?

Or, am I being a whinny little fanboy that now patience? Perhaps.

Anyway, has anyone found wave 9 figs this week?

I feel your pain. Luckily I have everything right now, but it is getting to the point that you have to hit 3 or 4 stores just to piece together a full wave. I am probably going to just start ordering everything from EE or BBTS from now on just to avoid the pain of even trying to find this stuff in stores. The only part that is going to suck is finding all of the upcoming exclusives - our TRU here in the springs is one of the worst places in town to find joes and half of the Targets are barely worth even checking. Sigh. I will still collect them, but I might blow off anything that you cannot order online like the exclusives.

I think I might be able to get you a BAT and Bazooka. As for your other needs I will definitely keep looking for you. I was fortunate to find everything that first week, so I haven't really been looking since then. However, if it is anything like the last couple waves I'm sure we'll start seeing Wave 9 on the pegs again during the next month. Though I love toy collecting, I absolutely hate the "hunt." There have been numerous occassions during the last few years that SWJay and I split cases of toys from online retailers due to shitty distribution at local stores. Though I hate spending money on shipping, I'm with Ekko, if that makes my life easier, I'll switch to online shopping for Joes.

Hey at least you won't be ass-out on the CC exclusives from Comic Con like the rest of us. With Joes skyrocketing popularity, I seriously doubt any of us are going to get our hands on those bad boys.

a buddy i deal with has seen them this last week @ walmarts over on the west side...none of the targets ..that i have seen have put out

I'm thinking of posting this observation in the general forums but have you noticed Targets putting up their Anti-Collector statement right over their GI Joe figures? I was wondering if somehow that whole $5 off 25 coupon was seen more with GI Joes than anything else. So they responded by raising prices and advising people that they can't by multiple GI joes.

Target's down here have the action figure aisle in disaray. It's practicaly the clearance section now, this store has no pegs for single Joe's and 2 CP's of Hawk/Scarlett. Out of the 5 stores, only one restocked the singles and that was 1 case of wave 7 Friday, another store has restocked the wave 4 CP's but have Vipers(at least 10) and CC's(at least 10) warming the pegs, dry at the other stores. Only action figure stuff I've seen restocked is the $10 Batman Tumbler's.

I haven't found anything recently, but then again, I haven't been looking. I was busy getting married this weekend, but I plan to start toy hunting again soon!
