Wave 8 is in Springs. Got a complete set, plus extra's of Bludd, SE, and RB. With plenty left and of wave 7, at Powers WM. Also saw wave 7 & 8 at the Platte WM.

I checked the Southlands Walmart as well as the Parker/ Chambers Walmart this morning. Nothing at the one on Chambers but Southlands had some Wave 7. It looks like they opened a couple of cases. As I did not have any of figures from this wave, I bought most of them.

I left behind 2 Vipers if anyone's interested. I had planned on building a squad of Vipers, but since this figure received such low marks by reviewers, I only bought two. After opening one of them though, I don't think he's too bad. Whether or not I'll open the other , I don't know. He might find himself hanging in "ye olde MOC collection."

Nice that I found wave 7 now that wave 8 is hitting. Guess the hunt continues...

I just got wave 8 at the Wal-Mart off Parker Rd and Chambers. They only had the 1 set.

I hit the Arapahoe/Lima Wal Mart around 1 am. I picked up two full sets of Wave 8 (for myself and SWJay). They had at least 8 of each new figure in unopened boxes ready to be stocked. l also spotted remnants of Wave 8 at both Wadsworth Wally's (6th and the Colfax one).

Kmart on powers and palmer park has a full set of wave 7 hanging on the pegs,
TRU had some wave 7 hanging around, a guy was buying some of them and we chatted for a sec. we made some jokes about gas prices making hunting too expensive. (someone who reads hisstank maybe?)
no sign of wave 4 comic packs yet...

Complete sets of Wave 7 at Targets at 144th/I-25 and 120th/Washington this morning.

At 120th/Washington store, saw a package variant for the Cobra Viper that had the "From the GI Joe cartoon" logo in the upper right corner versus the "25th Anniversary" logo.

To second Egg's observation, at the same store, I saw a couple of the wave 8 Cobra Commander w/ MASS device. No other wave 8 figures were there.

I got wave 8 today at Target. Got there at 8:00 a.m., thanks kids for reminding me that there is no sleep on the weekends. However, interesting story. This older guy, in his 50s comes up behind me and asks which ones I got. I told him I found the new ones. He looks disappointed. He then says, "Well, aren't you going to clean everything else out?" (Oh, they had several cases of wave 7) I answer, "Nah, I'm good. Just wanted the new ones."

I go out to pick up some sandals. Come back to the toy isle just to follow a hunch. And see, all the Joes are gone, with the exception of a wave 4 Cobra Commander.

I have met the enemy.

Hey, has anyone found Wave 4 comic pack? Did I read that Wave 4 comic packs are out? I can't find that thread.
