Yeah wave 6 hasn't made it to Springs,the Parker WM was the closest(aside from various Denver sightings). Memorial Day, I found some wave 5 at the Fountain WM & 8th St WM and nothing since. Fountain restocked with the Low Light wave as well as the Palmer Park WM, that just brought Joe's back.

No restock at the 8th St store and the Platte WM put the Joe pegs up on Memorial Day and have yet to stock anything. Don't waste your time at ANY Target or TRU.

OK here's my thought on a meet.. So far I've seen maybe 5 people interested and only 1 out of the many that wanted a meet set up. Castle Rock won't have a lot of places to go to.
What is your idea's of a Joe meet? Give some ideas up. What I've said above is what we do for Joe meets..
There are tons of WalMarts, Targets, Ross', TJMaxx's, Marshalls around the area so there's lots of hunting ground here and I'm sure I could talk the walmart mgr near me to order some GI Joe's in time for the meet.. though wouldn't know if they'll be wave 5 or wave 6 but I'm sure I could maybe figure something out where they can order us some to buy.
Ooops forgot... we can bring stuff for trade as well......

The date I said was July 16 or 17 and Springs or Denver hasn't been decided YET... as I'm reading there's NO Joes in the Springs worthy of hunting down there. Plus you didn't read that there isn't a WHOLE lot of interest so it may just be cancelled. I named a LOT of stores in Denver but you said NOTHING about what stores in the Springs have Joes to hunt down. I don't know the mgrs down in the Springs so no way I can ask them to order in the Joes.. but I do know the two mgrs near me and can ask and they will order them.. So far I'm seeing 3 people on here that has said they'd be interested... not a whole lot of interest. Mongoose who's in Denver and yourself are all that's shown a interest in this.. and me and my two buds who are in Denver..SO that means Denver so far and one member in the Springs off of JoeDio's (snipesfg17).

IF you want the Springs lets hear your plan for it as MY plan was for Denver metro area hunt.. I'm hearing two wally's in the Springs "MAY" have Joes.... I know of two that DO have Joes here in Denver and multiple others as well. And the two that DO I can get some ordered in by that date as well. snipesfg17 said he'd be willing to drive up to Denver so that means Denver is leading so far.

I have a buddy up here in Denver who is a Joe collector, but he doesn't frequent the message boards as he's busy with a child and his online comic shop business. If the time works out, I'm sure he'd love to show up as well.

If we're adding some Joe hunting to this outing, then my vote is for Denver. Not that I mind the Springs, but it seems there is more hunting here, and most of us are here.

Cici's pizza is fine with me. I'm all for cheap food, and I can't think of another sit-down place that would be as affordable as Cici's.

For the time frame that's mentioned, Denver isn't a option for me. My son has basketball tournaments(playing 3 games a day with varying start times). And if it were in Springs, I'd say there would be a 60% chance I could make it. If the meet were in August, Denver would fine.

Yeah Denver is a bit out of the way for me. Now I'm just throwing this out there, but what if me, Slim, and Ekko have our own little Colorado Springs meet, and the Denver dudes can have their own?
