The only PoC item I preordered was a Cobra Commander chase figure, but the rest I'll buy at retail. The only reason I got the CC was because I didn't know how hard he would be to find, and seeing the cluster fuck that is the EU wave/Hulkbuster wave/etc I wanted to take no chances. I wanted to buy everything else at retail, so the shit doesn't shit on shelves like RoC has. Last edited by Brcall; 06-14-2010 at 10:02 AM.. |

yeah, I regret not getting the CS Snake Eyes, Kamakura, Firefly, and now the defense of Cobra island set when I had seen them. Now I want all of these and they're nowhere to be found locally and I refuse to pay a huge mark-up that people want for them now.
And yeah I knew you were kidding about the college girls. So was I 0_o' lol By the way, I'm a MoC collector because I buy my son the figures too, and we open his. No need to have two opened figures. =) Last edited by Brcall; 06-14-2010 at 11:45 AM.. |

I saw a CS SE at Walmart the other day. You want me to grab it for you if it's still there? It's a badass figure, and one of the few in my personal collection that I've opened.

No need to have two opened figures. =) I usually buy atleast 2 figs when I can. 1 to open as is and 1 to use for a custom. My daughter was in her heightchair the other day at our kitchen table while I was modding/painting a custom for a friend and she got ahold of one of the Cobra B.A.T's and was crazy over it {she's almost 9 months old} and my wife informed me that no daughter of ours is going to play with boy's toys. LOL some of my best 'boy toy' playmates were the girls in my neighborhood who had better action figures than I did. Last edited by Regilan Viral; 06-14-2010 at 11:56 AM.. |

CS snake eyes as in the resolute mold right? yeah if you wouldn't mind pick me one up. I'll have some money this week sometime. If you're looking for anything let me know. I go out looking atleast 2 times a week and have found some really good deals locally. Like the $2.49 ROC figs at the Rite-Aid's here and the $6.99 comic packs.
By the way, I saw a Clone Wars Republic Fighter Tank at Walmart too if anyone is interested. The box was pretty messed up though, and that's why I didn't buy it for myself. |

I used to get one-and-one. But unfortunately I started army building squads of 5 for Cobra troops... and that lead to making sure a had multiples of all figures so I would not relive the horror of losing accessories as a child.
I need therapy. And money.

Np, if I find it I'll PM you to get your address so I can mail it. I know it was at Walmart, but I can't remember which one since I went to 5 Walmarts that day. It's funny because when I saw him I had an impulse to buy him, but my toy budget is so small I don't buy things unless I really need/want it for myself.

If you happen to come across 2 snag'em both for me. I was at the Hartselle flea market the other day and some guy there had action figures{Terminator/Spawn/Old 90's independent comic figures}. I got to talking to him and he said he's going to bring a few huge Rubbermaid storage containers of Joes and vehicles in for me to rummage through next week and I get 1st dibs since I helped him fix his laptop while I was browsing his booth. I hope to find some really nice things. He informed me the containers were full of vintage to 25th/ROC that he's picked up, mostly loose figs with the weapons in another container. I feel like a kid gearing up for Christmas morning. If there's anything you guys want me to keep an eye out for let me know. He said 4-6 containers, he wasn't sure exactly how many he had but he knew atleast 4. Last edited by Regilan Viral; 06-14-2010 at 12:21 PM.. |

You talking about losing accessories got me thinking about my son losing his Resolute B.A.T., and one of the missiles to his Turbo Tank. I'm still torn up about them. Also, everything he has with silver paint on it gets scratched up (like swords). What's the best paint to do touch ups with? |

As always, though, if they are found at Ross again, I will pick it up and hold it for you.
