Hit multiple Walgreens today and found myself yet another Zombie-Viper at the Medway, MA store, left a Scarlett and a SB v2 behind. Saw 2 Crimson Hiss tanks at Natick TRU, basically no figures, just an IG and night adder.

I checked the Walgreens right near my house. They're down to 2 figures and the price went up from $10.99 to $11.49 lol.
I scored the 6 troopers from the Desert 7-pack (I already had Major Bludd) at the Toy Vault in Warwick. $4 each. None had stands and were missing some accessories, but that's why you always keep some Marauder Guns and stands lying around.

That's nothing. This past Summer I went to a Walgreens way up in Mass and found a POC Lowlight for $14!

Oh I did buy him. This was about a week before I found him and the rest of wave 4 at Benny's on sale for a measly $5 (or maybe it was $4? I don't remember, but it was reasonable). Mainly bought him as a "just in case I don't find him cheaper" measure.
I know I don't endorse scalping, but considering that I could have grabbed 7 more Lowlights in my travels, I could have made some money. Heck, the same can be said for many other POC figures. Ah well, at least I got what I wanted and left the rest for others who were also in search of them. I mean, really, I don't need 2 moneybags Destros or 5 Storm Shadows (that's just silly), but nowadays I would consider an extra troop type figure or two.

Any word if Hasbro will release a revision case to fill the gap between the now and the movie? The movie figures will probably hit around April, right?
Too bad Hasbro will never release a greatest hits wave with some HTF figures: Shadow Tracker, Low-Light, Ren Storm Shadow, General Hawk, Jungle BAT, Lifeline, Air-tight, Sci-Fi, Law and Order, Rock Viper, POC Wave 3 Snake Eyes, and any version fo Cobra Commander (there always has to be a peg warmer). Speaking of Walgreens, for all you Star Wars fans, Walgreens will have a BOGO sale starting Feb 5. I'm not sure what they have in stock but hopefully they get something in to make the sale worth it. Unless they're trying to clear out Clone Wars and Saga Legends crap. |

I don't "scalp" figures either but I think if you've bought something casually for yourself and later realize that it's tripled in value (and you'd prefer to make a profit), it's foolish not to sell them. I start all of my GI JOE figure auctions at $7.99 (what I pay for them) and let the bidders do the work. |
