Dice looks ok, but I'm a little disappointed that 2 silly neon ninja characters may take the place of some 25-era unproduced characters that should be far ahead of them in line (I say 2 because you know wr'll also get Slice somewhere down the line). He looks alright though, I just think he'll become that ninja peeking out behind a bunch of other better characters at the back of my shelf.
Of all the members of Ninja Force, they were the only two I really liked. I've never been a huge fan of ninjas but I do have a decent army of Cobra Red Ninjas and Ninja Vipers that I wouldn't mind displaying Slice and Dice near. Maybe in either some kind of ninja training area on Cobra Island or in some kind of crazy "Cobra ninjas gang up on Snake Eyes and Snake Eyes kills a lot of them but gets his ass handed to him" scene... |

This officially wins tonight's internet award, and indeed, my heart as well.
BEAM, I think I love you, your nerdyness is hot! My wife just read that and called me a silly douche. Don't give a shit, it was worth it! Let's all pour a sip out on the curb for our fallen brothers and sisters. BATTLE OF HOTH: WE WILL NEVER FORGET. I getting excited for SuperMegaFest this year to meet Boba Fett himself Jeremy Bulloch. Daniel Logan aka young Boba will be there too but I'm an OT guy first and foremost. I've had the opportunity to meet Lando, Squidhead, Chewbacca, and Darth Maul at that show. Quote:
As for the club figures, I really like Topside the best out the 4 we've seen. The problem is the figures being released are outside of my collecting wheelhouse. Those figures were released after I got out of Joe so I don't really know them. So to pay $20-25 per figure plus shipping for figures I have no real attachement to doesn't make sense for me. If they were cheaper or available at retail I'd grab a couple. I do give credit to the club for making this happen and giving fans quality figures that we'd otherwise not get. |

A galaxy far, far away? In George Lucas' mind? No thanks lol. I don't mind the movies, but he's all about the money (as if he doesn't have enough)...that's why you see this stuff everywhere. Because he wants money and many people will buy whatever. People like it so be it. I wish Joes were somewhat popular again, but I think those days are over.

Funny you should say that FD. Gary Kurtz, who was a very good friend and film school classmate of Lucas, was a producer on Star Wars and ESB. He is on record as stating his departure after ESB was because Lucas was concentrating more on the licensing and that it was driving the story. Which can explain Ewoks, Jar Jar, and pretty much the entire PT.
GI Joe deserve a resurgence. But Hasbro needs to decide how to best market it. A mediocre movie, a cartoon on the verge of cancelation, and no support from retailers isn't helping. |

Lincoln Mall Target has 2 sets of Renegades, some 30th - Haz Viper, Blue Shirt, IG x2, Steel Brigade.
They had a Clone Wars shirtless Savage Opress on an endcap, 2 vintage boxed Taun Tauns, and 1 Search for Luke Battlepack. |

I met him in N.Attleboro one night at the TRU, he had 30th Vipers for me. He a very talented artist, he pretty much looks like a rest of us, white guy under 50. He looks a bit younger, 25 is my guess.
