You make some good points. Even I still feel like I'm just here on my own amongst the groups, the buds, the people who don't get along and argue. Seeing how frequently and far stores are checked, I've learned your better off just searching on your own, taking only what you need, and seeing where stuff pops up.
I can see where your first post may have read as "scalper", but it's nothing compared to how much extra stuff some people on here grab, cleaning out entire towns, be it for personal want or reselling. "This is why I only buy 1 and leave the rest for others." I fear if I said I bought a bunch of one figure, I'd probably be labeled a "scalper", but when others do it here, it's fine and welcomed. I don't get it. The way everyone jumped on you was...unwelcoming and extreme. You should have been given a chance to fit in. And the remarks made toward you went too far and seemed like they were said without any realization to their content. As far as welcomes go, what a fail. As for your vendetta, don't waste the time and effort, there's already a strong hold on the Joe market here. Plus, you would be doing others who don't care about the drama of this place an inconvenience by making it hard for them to even find something. I don't see why you feel like an "Outcast" Netkid.. I have invited you to a number of meets and also just to meet up in the afternoon.. I am not mad or singling you out so don't think that.. If you needed anything all you have to do is ask.. I even remember having a Voyager Battle Blade Optimus Prime I was giving to you for $8 but you never wanted to take my offer and meet up over the summer. DGNR82 has posted several times asking people if anyone needs anything.. Why waste the time and gas when you can grab them from people that have them? If you are worried about paint apps then grab the fig from one of the guys on here and if you find it in the store eventually, with a better paint app then return the one you got from one of the guys on here or reoffer it to someone.. That way you won't be let down the same way you were when you found wave 6, and let it go. As for the new guy, read into his post and don't be fooled Netkid.. He uses the same wording as someone else and isn't fooling anyone on here... <<< Cobra Commandr>>> is a new guy on here, was reading for a long time and is a awesome guy and never attacked me or Air-Tight.. Funny how were the same two that someone else has a problem with... |

Nothing for nothing, but I think most people here are great and just genuinely want to collect, talk and meet with others of the same interest and help each other. That's what this is all about. Shadow Ninja reached out to me after days of me joining and that was awesome, met up with the guy and everything. Even Air-Tight welcomed me instantly. I know I'm new here, but that's my 2 cents.

Just an update on the Walrus Man hunt: I have secured one from a Tanker in ATL. He found one on the pegs in a Wal-Mart and is mailing it to me. Damn fish face was partying it up in the ATL. If anyone finds one locally, dgnr82 is in need. I'll still keep my eyes open.

I have to say, I've been around here ever since stumbling onto the tank when the 25th came out. I don't post much, but I inquired about the meets the other day and I quickly received an offer to schedule an afternoon meet from Shadow Ninja. Fast Draw has helped me out a couple of times. I find the R.I. sightings thread to be very helpful and friendly.

I have to echo this... Many of us here have PMed you locations, offered to pick up items to help you out at cost, and so on. I really don't know how you can say you feel you're on your own. If that's the case, that is your choice. But don't make it sound like no one has tried to help you just because you haven't taken the help.
As far as the whole "army builder" vs. "one and leave the rest" argument. No one is right. Everyone collects differently. There's really no point in arguing it. I like to have groups of 3 for troopers. Some like more and some like less. That's their preference. There are pros and cons to each side. Just because you leave items behind doesn't mean it's helping anyone here out, but everyone should collect how they want to collect. Do I think people need 50 of a given trooper? No. But some people don't think I need 3. Everybody is different. I just don't understand why we have to keep going in circles with this shit. Everyone collect how you want to collect. If you want to help people out, go for it. If you don't want to help, then don't. Who gives a shit? There's enough people here to help others out. There's also online as an option for those that can't find anything or don't want to be bothered. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm just getting tired of all the whining and bitching around here. Let's all agree to disagree and move on already.
