I checked a few stores today, but only saw revision figures, old CPs (no 7 or 8), wave 1 and 2 vehicles, and wave 1 MM. TRU in Swansea had wave 13 figures amongst revision stuff. I did see plenty of the last 2 waves of Universe Deluxe TFs though (Hound/Ravage, Starscream, Cyclonus, Cheator, Dinobot, and Smokescreen).

Water Moccasin and Sky Hawk at Walmart RI Mall as of 1:30PM today. 2 wave 7 CPs left at Target Warwick Mall.

Extremely disappointing run today. Just about everything went up in price. CPs at Walmart RI Mall were $12.88 or whatever (and all were really old! they still had the Doc promo), singles $6.97, vehicles $16.97. CPs at Target were $11.19 and singles are $6.99 (some were $6.84 before).

Walmart Post Road still had CPs at $9.99, but all were old. They raised TF prices for the universe deluxe and animated to $12.88! Ridiculous. They had a ton of wave 4 and 5 universe deluxe, but for $13 you can see why.

I guess online will be the way to go for sure now. I just don't get it. We're in a recession and RI is in the shitter anyway...so let's raise prices? how is raising prices going to help them sell? I just don't get it.

I've been quite disappointed w/what's been out there. And I have noticed the rising prices and it's a joke. Plus w/all the re-paints being put out, no real "new" product. As for the movie figures, just SE & SS for me.

Speaking of the movie, I caught the pics of the movie combat heroes and saw the CC and if this is how he is going to look in the movie I am very pissed off! i was real excited after seeing the trailer, but now that I see how "Hollywood" is depicting CC I am so disappointed. Definitely puts me back on the fence now about this movie.

yea, there doesn't appear to be a whole lot coming out that I'm going to want to get...just a few of the wave 14/15/16 singles, a vehicle or two, and maybe a comic pack. the movie stuff doesn't impress me. maybe if/when I see them at a store, I might feel different, but we'll see. I plan on seeing the movie, but from what I've read and seen...my hopes aren't all that high. oh well...I'll save some money or spend it elsewhere I guess.

and which one of you bought all of the McFarlane wave 6 Cooperstown figures except for George Brett at Warwick TRU? I just wanted Rollie Fingers for my A's figures lol. I must have just missed them as I was there a few days ago and they didn't have them.

Spotted X-Men Origins figs at TRU in Warwick. All they had left was 1 brown wolvie, a military guy and movie wolverine. TRU in Attleboro does not even have pegs yet for origins.

Believe it or not K-Mart is the only place I found Marvel Universe figs. The K-Mart in Cranston (as of this past sunday nite) had 2 wolvies, 1 Daredevil, 1 Black Panther, 1 Silver Surfer and 1 Human Torch (blue uniform). I picked up one of each except for the human torch. K-Mart in Pawtucket had 1 wolvie left. I havent seen any pegs for these @ target, walmart or tru which is surprising. of all places k-mart has something b4 any other retailers. 2 pegs for these.

I picked up a MU Wolverine from the Cranston K on Sat. Saw a post on Mass sightings from a K employee that they came in and took a chance. The Origin figs have a release date of March 1st but TRU has been putting out early.

about 8 packs of the Greatest Battles DVD at Warwick TRU this morning...not that anyone is really all that interested in that one.
