the UBP was $38 and change at the Target in the mall for anyone that wants one. They had 3 of them on one of the back end caps (not the Joe aisle...closer to the learning toys for kids and stuff).

Yeah I saw those in target the other day I had to talk myself out of paying 40.00 for short-fuse.

If the UBP still do not sell they will go down even further in price. I've seen alot of toys on clearance and all these items will continue to go down the longer they do not sell. Even if this was at $20 I wouldn't buy it. I'm sick of dishing out my money for repaints.

I picked up the training SE / Hard Master CP today at the Target on Bald Hill Rd. (not the mall one). They had a ton of the wave 1 Mighty Muggs. Surprisingly, they only had 1 UBP and it wasn't on clearance. The one at the mall had them on clearance when I was there last week though. I don't want it. I just thought it was interesting that they didn't have it marked down. Oh, and they had 2 strapless Dusty DVD packs.

I was just up there earlier this evening and they had 1 UBP w/a red clearance tag for $38.98. Took a pass as I am trimming down my collection to just my ultimate favorites. Recently had to put almost my entire collection on eBay as this economy has hit me hard lately. I saw all the MM too.

Just wondering, besides GI Joe, are there any other lines everyone collects? For me I collect:

T'Formers (Starscream & Grimlock only)
DC Universe Classics
Marvel Legends (only my favorite characters)

yea, I hear ya about the economy. I've been taking pretty much the same approach and that's what I'll have to do until I find a new job.

as far as collecting other things:

I have a few of the newer TF's movie voyager Starscream, voyager Optimus Prime in G1 colors, universe deluxe Starscream, and universe deluxe Cyclonus.

I have an A's hat collection of 39 different hats lol (game, minor league teams, world series, "fashion"). The last couple years I've only added a few hats. I think I've only gotten 4 or 5 in the last 2 years and 2 of those were gifts.

The only other thing would be music. I'm not a huge fan of the digital revolution as far as buying albums and official releases. I've got a lot of CDs and some vinyl. I probably won't be buying much vinyl anymore, but I only really get a vinyl copy of the things I really like.

Yea I had a seasonal temp position at Hasbro, which by the way they are horrible to work for. It was from Sept-Dec so now i'm back to being laid off and looking for work. It really sucks out there. Are you from Oakland? I used to DJ back in the day so I hear ya on the vinyl. I miss those days. I collect hats too. Red Sox, Celtics, Dolphins. I'm a big sports nut
