I like the idea SS 73. I wanted to do something like that if the Joecon was in the area. Have a whole bunch of us meet to go. Now that it's in KC and my dreams have been dashed. Oh well, there is next year for that. Once I move back to RI this year I'm up for doin the Sat mornin thing. I'm down with Lody666 idea for the movie too.

Hey everyone i've been thinking about doing this for a while now. There seems to be only a few of us on here in this thread. What does everyone think of say like once a month, all of us meet up on a Sat or Sun morning and go on a massive hunt for new stuff. We could meet up at a Dunkin Donuts and just do a massive toy run, like a guys night out, only in the morning and looking for toys rather than chics lol. Anyways, what are your thoughts?
It's tough to do toy-runs even with good friends sometimes. Say you all go to a store & they have the 1 new Joe you all need. Who gets it? The guy who saw it 1st & already has 2 but troop builds? The guy who drove you all there? The guy who doesn't have the figure yet? And what about the other 2 guys? It's a nice idea but can leave some bad feelings if not everyone leaves there satisfied with the end result. I've seen it in the past. That's why my brother & I do these Joe runs ourselves, because you can trust the guy your with & make difficult calls without argument. Not so easy with someone you just met or barely know who wants the same stuff. The current line of Joes has been very competitive. Not everyone's an animal but... Just a thought. |

for $15 I'll pass. I'd get SS and SE if they were cheaper than that, but otherwise I won't. I checked a few places today and no one had them. Target at the mall did have DVD sets 3 and 4 if anyone needs them (only 1 of each).

I didn't mind seeing I had a gift card for the mall so it wasn't bad. Besides I haven't seen these at all in retail yet so it was cool to grab them.

yea, that's a different story then. I was able to find them at Target in Seekonk last night. On sale for $8.99 each. I grabbed SE and SS.

Target in Warwick Mall looked like the reset was finished, although it was almost as bare as old mother's cubbard. It seems like that Target is always behind in re-stocking shelves. Still on the hunt for the CC mighty mugg ans Target in WM had no Joe muggs...
