The Walgreens in Ankeny had a few wave 1 (the north one also had a Resolute and ROC CC). Wal Mart also has wave 1 collecting dust and Target hasn't had anything for quite a while. DG had one black CC and one blue SE as of yesterday.

Found Kwinn at the downtown Sioux City Walgreens, along with a Wave 1 figure. The Joe peg at the morningside Walgreens is full of Iron Man or something - I didn't see any Joes there at all.

Anyone in the Des Moines / Iowa City area interested in a near complete Terror Drome, only thing missing is one of the guns on the firebat I believe. Asking $200 for it would rather meet than hassle with shipping this bad boy!

Also the DG over by Gordmans on the East side had a full case of wave 2 Joes this weekend, left them all.

New Joes finally in Des Moines! I picked up a Firefly, Storm Shadow, Flint and Kwinn at the Clive TRU. They still have 3 Budos, Snake Eyes, Road Block, a couple of Cobra Commanders, a couple of Fireflies, Flint and a couple of Storm Shadows.

Found a wave 3 Ultimate Storm Shadow and Ultimate Flint at the downtown Walgreens in Sioux City. I bought the Storm Shawdow, and left the Flint.

Found a ROC Agent Helix at the Sioux City Walmart on Floyd, and left it. There is no Joe peg - it was just laying on top of some other toys, near the Star Wars toys, and not in the clearance section.

That's awesome. You should have scanned it to see if it was still in the system and for how much. Helix can make for some good customs if you're into that sort of thing.

Was at a Dubuque Walgreens. I asked if they would be getting any new Joe figures in--the same Roadblock and Cobra Commander have been staring at me since the summer.

An employee explained he can order new figures--in fact, he can get on the computer and order them by name. He asked me a list of the ones I'm looking for, and grabbed some paper.

I said, "Night Viper."

He wrote, "Knight Viper."

I said, "Kwinn."

He wrote, "Quinn"

I said, "Data Viper."

He wrote, "Dad of Viper."

I said, "Jinx."

This he spelled correctly.

He punched up the listing for Joes on the Walgreens World Crisis Viewer Monitor Computer, and found only a few listings from the first wave: Cobra Trooper, Joe Trooper, Red Ninja, Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. I asked him to order me the troopers, which he says he did.

I thanked the guy, because at least he tried, right? And I can't wait to see what the Dad of Viper figure looks like.
