Made a special drive out to Monaca TRU - they had a decent amount of single figures, and a few wave 8, but I already had them all except Baroness. So I got her - now I need Major Bludd, Flint, Snake Eyes and Python Trooper. They have a lot of the troop builders and ranking officer packs. This TRU has a decent selection of all different types of stuff - it must be out of the way of most collectors. The TRU in Robinson has had NO single cards for a while, with a couple of comic packs. Everywhere still has an overabundance of wave 1-3 comic packs. And damn - it's hot out! I hate summer. Wish it would snow.

does anyone know if wave 1 is still being shipped? maybe in small quantities? i was in philadelphia for a week (originally from Ny) and at a target on city line ave, i found a cobra officer, who was from wave 1.

As far as my knowledge goes, it's not, you saw a remnant of a revision wave most likely.

Not to derail the thread...but there is a PA Joe Customs group that meets twice a year. We just met at Kirby Park, Kingston on Saturday June 7. The meets are open to all collectors...not just customizers...though customs are brought to the meets to show them off to others...and we talk/show each other how to get the results. There is alot of trading/selling of items there also. They are a good bunch of guys...I've been to all the meets so far and have had a great time.

The group is composed of gentlemen from as far south as Maryland...as far north as New York...and as far east as New Jersey. Most of us are from Eastern PA.

As said...we meet in the spring at Kirby Park in Kingston...and in the fall last year we met in the Allentown area. We are looking into finding a larger place to hold the meet in Allentown currently.

Target in Boardman, Ohio 14 miles from the PA line has 2 wave 8 CC, 1 wave 4 CC, 1 wave 7 Jetpack Duke, and 7 Vipers a mix of wave 7 & 8.

Alot of us Eastern PA folks are members on multiple boards...but it seems that JC is the one where we decided to plan out the meets on.
