Kakes and I saw a listing for 6 cobra troopers so we raced to Philly to see if we could get them. Upon entering there was a guy with all six in his hands plus what seemed to be 2 more even. A huge stack. I assumed it was Kakes and asked if one was for me and had I been talking to him on the internet about them. It was some TOTAL OTHER GUY buying all of them. Oddly he actually offered me one, probably because he'd think I'd flip out, but one is enough for me to start. Kakes got one too, but at least 4 or more walked out with one guy. We barely made it and someone else had all of them.

Hey Un_Chakal, interesting story and I'm glad you were able to score a trooper!

Was out today buying clothes with the family and decided to check popfindr and the Abington Target had 2 Baronesses in stock. Left the wife & kid busy in the clearance isle and went up the road to check it out.

Got to the Target toy aisle and nothing on the shelf, had 2 roadblocks but I went down the next isle and out of the corner of my eye I spotted a single Baroness box underneath & behind some Fortnite stuff, SCORE!!!!

I don't hunt anymore because brick & mortar retail is so unreliable but man, it feels sooo good to find that hidden gem out in the wild!!!!!

And the wife did well clothes shopping so everyone wins!

I have off work Monday and Tuesday.... Bet nothing gets stocked on those days....

No trucks are on weekends BUT I just saw on popfindr 2 on plymouth meeting I didn't see listed yesterday night.

Wasted two hours today just now driving around this morning.

Drove 10 minutes to Warrington Target at 8:30am. There was two Troopers listed there. Apparently someone beat me by 10 minutes. Talked to a fellow GI Joe collector for a few minutes. Was it one of you? lol

Drive for 30 more minutes away to Plymouth Meeting at 9am. Two troopers there. In the back. They refused to get them out of the back. Said the toy guy comes in at 1pm and will do it then.

Drove 20 more minutes away to Phoenixville. Two troopers there. Same story. They refused to get them from the back.

Drove 45 minutes back home. Very frustrated and deflated. By the way, the troopers are STILL there. Anyone near Plymouth Meeting or Phoenixville around 12 to 1pm today? I just can't go back..... I can't but also I won't.

It's been total chaos looking for Joes. I'm stuck working from home so my wife and daughter ran out to 2 Targets and both flat our denied them. "They are still on the truck" is what they were told. They refreshed Popfindr only to see the totals drop from 6 to 4 while still in the store. There were even told "they have one in the back but it's sold already." People know how much they are selling for and are doing everything they can to hold onto them. I hope everyone here gets what they are looking for soon. I'll keep my eye out for anything and report back. Don't forget that Snake Supreme Cobra Commander goes up for preorder soon and Hasbro Pulse Con is September 25th and 26th this month so we are getting more news on figures.
