I'm glad I went with BBTS instead of Dorksidetoys for my preorder, or else I'd be still waiting for these figures too. It was just a random choice that made me go with BBTS. I didn't care for any of wave 4, so I'm done for the rest of this year now, which is fine since I only like buy a few figures a year anyway. I'd be really tempted if I saw another Ultimate Duke or Combat Ninja on the pegs though.
I did see the planogram or whatever for the Wal Mart in Parma, and they still list the Joe's on there. I saw somebody actually took a bunch of the figures off the pegs and put them on the big cardboard display for the Retaliation blu ray. Clever thinking there. |

The pegs will be empty, those figures will get misplaced, and no new figures will ever get ordered. I don't understand people who do that sort of thing. the computer automatically orders based on what's in stock, not some guy in a blue shirt with a clipboard wandering the aisles and noticing there are no joe figures. |

Except all that does is mess up the store's computer inventory.

The first time I did hide the figures I did not know they would reorder based on the count actually on the shelf. Usually stores just go by the count on their inventory scanner, the gemini. Walmart only notices if the computer tells them to replace them, otherwise someone has to point them out. Though sometimes it took a salaried manager ordering something to get certain things to come in. It worked in ordering 25th anniversary joes and we got tons and sold through them in a couple days in 2008. Last edited by DR.Sin; 08-20-2013 at 01:05 PM.. |

Yeah, if you point it out, it works, I've actually done that myself at Walmart and had stock show up a few days later.
But if you're counting on a store employee to actually take the initiative and look into it themselves, it's not happening. |

Very true, most employees really couldn't give a shit. I use to take the intiative when I worked at Walmart in the toy dept, by getting my bosses interested. I even used UPC's that I would get off of websites like this to see when and if we would get certain items.
