Sunbow, definitely . Sgt Savage was very good, but sadly just one episode. GI Joe Extreme is seriously bad... DIC is sad, so much potential lost in the goofyness.. Resolute too bloody... Renegades was good, entertaining, but the drawing style put me off a bit. Sigma Six has a few good bits, but generally very unjoe.

Here I see missing the 3d movies of VvV and GI Joe vs Cobra. Sad they didn't expand on that, it is what the franchise needed at that time, and could have been interesting and different.

I'm gonna have to go with Sunbow. True Resolute is quite good, but I never watched Renegades or Sigma 6 though I have heard good things about Renegades. Also Resolute kind of turned Storm Shadow to an irredeemable jerk instead of him having some code of honor like in the conic books and Sunbow. DIC did have Metal Head as and a catchy opening too, but I think Sunbow is more iconic.

Been re-watching Extreme on YouTube. It's actually a fun watch.

May have to try that. Didn't know it was available there.

I've probably rewatched Renegades as much as I've rewatched the Sunbow series. Both great.

I haven't rewatched Renegades since 2011, but it will always hold a special place for me, since it was what brought me onto HissTank, to discuss the series. I was so excited just to have a current animated GI Joe series to talk about.

Whatever flaws it had (which are more apparent to me in hindsight), it did certain things really well, which still stick with me. That short-haired, corporate trench-coated version of Baroness, might still be my favorite Baroness, she was such a boss.

Renegades nailed all the characters...except for Mindbender. I found him obnoxious.

I won't mention the ninjas, since I can't stand their presence in G.I. Joe.

Yeah I don't recall Renegades doing much justice with the Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow story, and Jinx was...interesting?

I actually rather liked what they did with Mindbender. He was like a young arrogant techie brat, a [email protected]$^% you love to hate, and plus his antipathy with Destro was really played up, they really despised each other, which seemed appropriate for internal Cobra rivalry

Was annoyed with Mindbender at first, but I realized they probably went with the type of them smart-mouth, millennial, tech-savvy nerd.

I actually like the drama behind Storm Shadow's animosity to Snake Eyes, better than what Resolute did, and his eventual repentance. When the three of them teamed up, it was awesome. You got a traditional ninja, ninja/commando and a cyberninja. I also like Jinx acting as the head of the Arashikage and being Destro's cyberninja.

Yes! I specially liked Mindbender and Destro's bickering.
