I've started watching the cartoons, (starting with the "realness and foundation,") that is the Sunbow series and this what I've noticed so far.

C.C. is the comedic foil to Destro's straight man. I think Dixon'em had a preference for Destro as the leader for COBRA Command over C.C.

On "The COBRA Strikes," episode @ 3:23 I don't know what the fuck it is those COBRA pilots were trying to do, but they literally crashed, burned, and died.

On the Sunbow cartoon Gen. Flagg looks like Gen. Austin.

The Soviet Secretary General, (I'm assuming that it's the Soviet Secretary General,) in Slave Of The COBRA Master bears a striking resemblance to Leonid Brezhnev.

When Shana'em go to the Artic to get one of the catalytic elements when they get to the cave, the JOEs inexplicably take their coats off.

@ 18:23 When Duke is making his escape from COBRA on the hang glider one of the COBRA troopers crashes into the side of a cliff then plummets to his death.

In A Stake In The Serpeant's Heart @ 11:18 Destro just straight up threatens to kill muthafuckas.

Throughout The M.A.S.S. Device miniseries I noticed that the JOEs and COBRA Command were using actual rounds and at 17:21 of Duel At The Devil's Cauldron episode there are bodies on that COBRA flying fortress. I even noticed that as a kid.

In the Sunbow Series Duke is 6'2".

S.E. is referred to as "Snake," and Gung Ho is referred to by his initials.

In COBRA's Pit Episode 1 of The Revenge of COBRA (a.k.a. The Weather Dominator miniseries,) @2:35 L.J. can steer a Vamp with her foot and throw a javelin.

Shipwreck was A.W.O.L., still in uniform, and after helping out he goes back on active duty with no questions asked.

Why was Flint wearing his beret while he was wearing the COBRA uniform?

Courtney cut her hair and dyed it auburn. She also got a new uniform. At the time I was pissed but after watching M.A.S.S. Device I realized that R.O.C. Covergirl was canon and she was M.A.S.S. Device Covergirl.

Yeah even as a kid I thought it was cool that the rifles in The MASS Device were carbines and not lasers, at least some of the time. Then they went full laser, until that brief shot of Gen Hawk atop the Statue of Liberty, with shell casings flying.

Destro was the better Cobra leader in Sunbow but I'm still not sure why his eyes glowed.

Blonde CG is the better CG. She looked like a cross between LJ and Scarlett with the short brownish-red 'do. I tell myself she was abducted by Cobra and replaced by Baroness/Zarana (heck, or Zandar) for the rest of the series.

Why didn't SE wear gloves?

Why did Flint wear his beret with street clothes in other episodes?

And, I'll shelve my theories on the love triangle between Scarlett, Destro, and the Baroness.

He doesn't only fight him. Sometimes they talk. Sometimes they go running. Sometimes they go swimming. I think they're becoming super friends. Okay, okay. I've never noticed the music but I seem to remember Quick-Kick and Storm Shadow fighting. Maybe in the Excalibur episode.
