Doubt it.
The Club doesn't typically just reissue vintage vehicles. In fact, I can't think of any time they've ever done it. The idea is that since these are marketed at pretty hard-core GI Joe collectors - the type who would fly across the country to go to the official con - it's a good bet they have the vintage versions already. And if they don't - well, it's the official GI Joe Con, so they could probably get them right there if they wanted. Yes, Hasbro does this - but there's going for the "hey, I remember having that as a kid - now I can get a minty fresh new one again" market, while too many convention goers would say "hey, I remember having that as a kid - and I've army-built the heck out of by getting ten of these on Ebay over the years." There are tons of vehicle molds that never got the Python treatment to choose from. Personally, I bet the Motor Viper is meant for a VAMP or Stinger in Python colours. It'd be perfect for collectors too, as we'd finally have something to tow the Python ASP. The Moccasin... MAYBE. It's rare enough that if they do, people will buy it. However, I still kind of doubt it. As rare as it is, we're still talking about a Collector's Club here, and they're not out to devalue anyone's rare items. Besides, again, there's just too much choice out there - they could easily do a Python VAMP, a Python Stinger, a Python Ferret, a Python HISS, SNAKE Armor, MMS, FANG, CLAW, Rattler, etc... The list goes on. So why bother just rehashing something when they could do something new? ^ Good Observations Made Here ^ |

The Club has in fact reissued the HISS Tank a few times as well as the Fang I believe. Keep in mind, that the newer figures are 4-inches and not 3.75 so they will only use the stuff that works and of what they have available. Most likely being the 25th scaled reissues in a different paint scheme. Thus, a 25th reissued Brazilian Water Moccasin in Maroon. The STUN was issued in a Dreadnok scheme but fits the scale as well and they have the piece, so that is a huge possibility.

03/10/2011 - We only have 38 American Hero registered attendee packages left for this year's "Mission Brazil 2" set and we are currently sold out of the non-attending Homefront Hero package. IF we have any left by next Tuesdays deadline, we will move the attending packages into the non-attending inventory. So, if you are planning on joining us at this year's GIJoeCon - do not wait any longer as the deadline is almost here! We look forward to seeing everyone soon in Orlando!

A lot of people would be happy to have the Con red Moccasin if that were to happen, considering how rare and expensive the original is. Demand might go down for the Brazil version in that case. Or maybe not, but I seriously doubt it go up (it's already very expensive). But who knows - you're right that the 25th Moccasin is in fact quite different from the original, so maybe. I still think it's more likely to be a Python Moccasin if they use that mold, though. I mean, it's kind of weird that Copperhead is in Python Patrol, but he doesn't have his ride, you know...

^^ Ah I see. Re-issues will not happen because the foot pegs don't work for ME figures, right?

Still, there are plenty of vehicles that wouldn't need it, or have already been remolded to fit 25th figures. Maybe a Python Skyhawk or VAMP?
