considering how bad the script was, she stayed really true to the character and did a great job....not sad to see her go, but I dont hate her for it. Leaves the door open for others

I took it that the value she compromised was not taking a role she felt like a fraud performing as. She felt like a fish out of water during the whole production so she took the role for money. Basically selling out in her own mind. That's just what I got out of the interview.

I didn't care for the character as written, but she looked the part. What more was she supposed to do?
I don't understand the 'compromise my values" part. Is she saying it harmed her to fight? To shoot a gun? To play a villain? Or was it the skin tight suit and chest enhancement that got to her?

"I'm not very good at fighting. And I'm not very good at guns. And I'm not particularly aggressive. I had to wear sunglasses because every time I shot my gun I would blink.
Oh, that's why she wore sunglasses, not because she was Baroness. Stupid Bitch should learn a little history before taking on a role. |

I'm confused, everyone knows the English have no values.

I think what we have here is a case of trying something new.
A lot of actors are like that...look at Tom Hanks...funny guy, and yet if he never tried something new we would never have found out what a great dramatic actor he is. Personally she tried to move out of what she was familar with...she did ok with what was given to her. Yeah it clearly wasn't The Baroness of ARAH cartoon or comic but I think she pulled things off pretty well. The problem is she did it and just didn't like the experience of an action film...BUT she did it got it out of her system and was smart enough to recognize how out of her element she was, and how she likely BARELY pulled off the performance she did. So good for her, I wish her well in future projects. |

I think after giving the public several years to forget that film ever happened, Hasbro needs to bring in a brainstorming team, consisting of some Sunbow cartoon writers, Larry Hama, members of the original and current Hasbro design team, a handful of respected members of the fan community, and 1 director who is capable of handling the source material with the attention to detail it deserves. Give them a year to hash out ideas and then appoint a screenwriter to take the results of these brainstorming sessions and turn it in to a cohesive film. I applaud Sienna Miller for taking their money and running, and having the good sense to not return for what will likely be an atrocious sequel. I only now wish that Wayons and Tatum would do the same. |
