This AWE Striker looks decidedly different in style than the Human Alliance line. Honestly, compare the AWEbot to BB or the others. There is no comparison. The AWEBot looks like crap...in comparison.
I think this is 3-3/4 crossover attempt. However, their going to have to do a lot better if they want it to work. |

Looks "meh". The Human Alliance toys have been screwed up from day one. Decent idea, but piss poor execution across the board.
Especially, with the shipping assts. |

Just because that Energon T-Former had it's vehicle mode that looked like a Snowcat doesn't mean it was a Snowcat or even inspired by the Snowcat.
Instead of the designers looking at the Snowcat and going "hey, that's a sweet vehicle, let's make a tformer that turns into that as a homage" it was most likely "Hey, that's a sweet vehicle, that'll make a great looking tformer". This one is a big stretch calling it even "awe striker-like". Snowcat - Transformers Energon - TFW2005 Being that Transformers and GI Joe are both Hasbro's own brands, it's no surprise that they borrow elements from each other from time to time. |

There's alot of difference in the designers saying: "Let's make the Snowcat into a Transformer" and "The Snowcat looks cool, that would make a great Transformer" One is a homage to the original and the other is just looking at a cool vehicle and going with it.

what??? I, guessing you dont have Barricade or Jazz then. These figures have been great. The only one thats kinda bad is Sideswipe because of his backpack-forming.

Borrowed being the important word.

Still missing my point.
Big difference in if something was meant to be a homage or someone just went "that looks cool" and used it. But either way, calling this Bot as close to an Awe Striker is a stretch. There's barely a resemblance and only if grasping. As a transforming robot with a human driver, this isn't actually that bad.
