I missed out on a lot of good Narnia figures at Ross, passed on them once, changed my mind, never saw them again.

This may have been addressed, but shouldn't there be tons of these things if they were produced as a Target exclusive then there should be a lot more somewhere - more than the few Ross's in the country could ever move.

Do you go to every single Ross store or know their shipment manifests? The TRU exclusive army builder packs showed up months ago and I never saw them again, and I check the same stores at least once a week. This may be a case of one store not ordering more or someone else beating me to them but there's no way to know that everything gets restocked. Ive been lucky to find the stuff I want but I dont want to spread false hope to people. We dont even know how many of these sets were made. To assume we'll all get a shot at them seems overly optimistic.
logical argument -- Ross' nationwide have restocked every other Joe item, thus it is reasonable to expect these to restock as well. that isn't being optimistic, that is possessing the ability to think logically and project future events based on past events. illogical argument -- you don't know Ross' orders or production quantity, thus you cannot project based on past events. sorry, you can for the sake of argument or discussion. if not, the question of whether they restock is itself invalid because there is no answer until it either occurs or never occurs. is that what you would consider a reasonable course of discussion -- no discussion? because that is what your attempted dispute of my post leads to. illogical argument 2 -- if all stores do not restock it means Ross as a whole does not restock. sorry, some stores not getting more in does not reflect Ross as a whole. in short, projecting past scenarios to future likelihood is not being optimistic, it is being logical. I never declared with 100% certainty that it is a guarantee, and no reasonable human being could have interpreted it as such. but logically, it is far more likely than not that they will. why something so simple and obvious has to be stated, nevertheless defended, is beyond ludicrous. |

nobody here has any information on these things; all we have is our opinions. thus, if you require specific information rather than generalizations for a position to have merit there is no reason to even ask the question. that is simply an awfully stupid criteria to have for discussion in which nobody has any specific information. by your own logic, the conversation can't even be had because there is no proof. all we have in our posts is the logic and intelligence we use to formulate our conclusions, not that they have proof. your attempt to dispute the logic of my post revealed a lack of logic on your own part; so when responding to such I will certainly point that lack of logic and reason out if you are so proud to display it. you don't have to go to every single store, or need specific information, to make a projection of Ross as a whole based on previous toys. that has already been stated. a logical argument is a broad argument; narrowing an argument to only apply to specific scenario that is part of a broader scenario makes an illogical argument. that is what you did.
