I'm a little lost as to who is pushing this information out. You guys are scaring me. I think a little more research is needed.
Here's a little tid-bit from someone who may know a little about the movie itself -Lorenzo di Bonaventura http://www.iesb.net/index.php?option...4826&Itemid=99 Overall, Stephen Sommers appears to running a tight ship. Sienna Miller is smoking hot, these sets are huge, there were plenty of explosions, plenty of water and we saw Vipers and Neo-Vipers. And finally, Brendan Fraser does not play Gung-Ho or any other Joe that has been rumored thus far and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will not be in the film. you guys are killin me My wish for the Rock being Sgt Slaughter was merely that... a wish. Primarily, because I think he can do it, and do it well. Despite his pro-wrestling background and the stigma that most people of that ilk can't act (Hulk Hogan, Jesse Ventura, Steve Austin... to name a few) the Rock breaks that stigma. Scorpion King, while not the greatest flick was fun. 'Walking Tall' and the 'Rundown' play to the Rock's strength of being a tough guy. 'Grid Iron Gang' and 'Gameplan' help him play a more family oriented role. But, where he truly shines is 'Be Cool'. I was laughing my @$$ off. I think just about any role they could put the Rock in for GI:Joe would be one he could live up to. Here's to hoping he does get a part... if not now, later. |
