New artist's artwork FTW! Reason enough to buy the SS SE pack even if it comes with repacks(still hoping for some retools nonetheless).

I wonder if the crimson guard variant we see will be a part of this comic 2-pack?

an interresting read, but i'm alittle worried...
the covers on display are nice, but (as a long time comics reader) that interior page is really not up to snuff. the panel to panel flow is nearly incomprehensible and there's some pretty iffy anatomy in panels 1, 4 and 6 and the gradient-color-with-no-art backgrounds are pretty bad... (and what's going on with the scythe coming out of the Red ninjas hand in panel 6???)

Somebody with a better grasp of physics, please explain how Snake-Eyes possibly does what he does from panels 4-6, and why SS is still behind him when he should clearly have wound up in FRONT of him if SE was doing some kind of backflip (some sort of impossible backflip at that). I mean, SS is practicall standing on his shoulders in one panel, then...bleah. The closer I look at these panels, the less I like them. And you're especially right that the backgrounds are bad. I would say more like terrible.

Hey-- just joined up here. As one of the artists responsible for the 25th Anniversary comics, I figured I'd drop in and say hey and thanks to all the fans that have expressed enthusiasm at the various conventions and signings I've done lately! You guys and gals rule.

Thanks! It's really appreciated. Thanks for the comment, and I admit not all turned out as I wish it had due to various factors. Let's just say that sometimes certain variables come into play that can conflict or compromise the overall product... Thanks for the feedback! I gladly take any responsibility and blame where it is deserved...The page in question was not my own design, however-- this one was roughed out by Larry Hama himself. thank you sir for clarifying who makes the comics suck. I liked the art but the writing is atrocious. and why arent you credited with drawing any of these? I didnt see your name on the comic pack anywhere. |
