I don't have my Sound attack version with me but I think it was held on with a couple of screws so you should be able to take the speaker and gun off (I don't think you can put anything in the gun's place though)

Maybe but probably not right away. I know I'd rather have the Python Patrol version then the Joe one but I think we all have to start getting realistic as to how much 25th/RAH product we'll get before Hasbro starts cranking out movie product by Spring of next year.

there may be a little bit of stuff (i'd guess primarily store Exclusives) but historically during Movie years Hasbro has focused just on that (Transformers, Revenge of the Sith)
What i took from the QnA answer regarding it though, is the Movie figures will be in the 25th style, and obviously they won't be able to fill an entire toyline with the onscreen characters, so they'll be doing "familiar faces" (i think that was the line) as "filler" like the did with TFs. They might not be as ARAH-accurate as the 25th line, because they'll design them more to fit in with the movie costume aesthetic, but will likely be recognizable. (i'd imagine ala DTC Grand Slam ~ updated and modern, but clearly who he was supposed to be)

Oh, I think they will. They did it with Transformers, they did it with Star Wars - they'll do it with GI Joe. For a while though, it will probably be in movie-style packaging. |

Unfortunately it is a different connector so the missiles won't fit in that spot. I doubt they will make a Python Patrol version. One could try at customizing it though.

Why not? 1. They've already shown us that they're going to make Python Patrol figures 2. They have a limited pool of ready-use molds (apparently) 3. It's likely that the vehicles will prove to be just as popular as the figures and Hasbro will want to rush new product to the stores to take advantage of it (like when they rushed figures like Flint, Cobra Officer, Hooded CC, SE V2 and SS V2 to stores after the 5-packs - figures that all used reused parts), while they (hopefully) retool vehicles that need the extra details or new parts after being broken or lost 4. Hasbro has shown that in general they love doing repaints whenever they can, even more than they did back when they did the original Python Patrol I'm not as confident that it will happen soon, maybe next year, or maybe as an exclusive. All signs point to a very distinct possibility however... Last edited by DPrime; 05-03-2008 at 09:06 AM.. |
