Wow, Didn't know he also did Mighty Max stuff
That Panther looks cool, I'm assuming it was inspired by Panthor from He-Man (especially considering it looks like a more detailed version in the exact same pose ) |

Love that Downtown sketch! He was one of my favorites as a kid. My mom didn't like him because he was one of the few Joes with an "angry" face.
Never did understand why my mom thought it was ok for me to play with soldiers as long as they were smiling about it.

I'll be looking forward to that. I was unable to afford the sketches with art, but I'd be very interested in purchasing that Downtown sketch!

apparently the 2up for the panther was sculpted... so if it wasn't destroyed... somewhere out there is like a 6 inch panther ... not exactly He-Man scale... but it'd still be cool to see.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but do we know who "Scarhead" is?
And thanks again for posting these. I love looking at his sketches. |

Scarhead is Scarface... a Cobra character from the comics. a name change apparently happened somewhere in there. the figure was actually released in the 25th line. Yo Joe! Sit-Rep

no no... the 2up would have been that big. the 2up would have been 6 and half actually. the finished product would have been half that size.
