I am in the extreme minority here, but I for one hope the figures do NOT fit in well with the modern joes instead staying true to the vintage o-ring scale. If that happens, I will buy up a good number of them. The vehicles could easily be made to fit both thus making it a line with good things for both types of fans (I know saying such a thing is kin to blasphemy on here but oh well).

I'm kinda torn on it. I'd be curious to see what they'd look like fitting in with the modern era bits, but at the same time... I like the vintage o-ring as is.

It's been proven time and again that Gyre has the connections and knows what he's talking about. So if Gyre posts something, then can consider it coming from an official source. Just simple acknowledgement that the guy knows of what he speaks, much to the dismay of his critics.

Tell me he doesn't fit in with ME Joes. The O Ring doesn't matter, the final sculpts will determine if they fit in with ME or not. On a related note, daddy wants a Hive. He'll wait patiently, but he wants one none the less. |

For me it's one or the other. I don't really care for the "go-between" years of the early-to-mid '00s, when they didn't quite look like either. I like a few of the army-builders and use SOME of the characters as fillers for 25th characters (like Cover Girl for example), but the idea of another "new sculpt" o-ring line doesn't excite me NEARLY as much as a completely new RAH-type sculpt toy line. Nothing against 25th-style - if this WAS going to be 25th-style I'd be JUST as excited. However, they've already gone and said it's not, as they will be using the o-ring design. I don't want something that isn't really compatible with either line that I collect. Quote:
