[QUOTE
see, even when they adhere to actual design elements from the figures 25 years ago people complain, and you wonder why it gets annoying?
Why take what other fans say, good or bad, so seriously? Not one of us would have ever gotten to write the script or create the customs this go round. As fans, we'll always believe that there's another way. That's all. Yeah, a lot of us are sick of the complaining, even when we're doing it. But it all stems from our love of the material and the fact that we have high hopes and faith that they could have done more. I'm still waiting for the trailer. I'm still excited about it even if I don't like the script. Why? Because it's GIJOE. I was born in 1975, got my first Joe in 1982 (Rock N Roll) and have been dreaming of a live action flick since I saw my first movie and realized the power of telling stories on the silver screen. So even with the script pains, or whatever pains we all may have, I'll be there because my love fro Joe outshines how much I may dislike soem aspect of this movie.
This is impossible. Yes some of us don't like it. We are entitled to opinions. But GIJOE has been around for 25 years. I began collecting in 1982. These new toys are great and hopefully Hasbro will keep it going another 25 years. I know I'm looking forward to creating dios and playing with G.I. JOE toys with my son who's currently two.
Gi.Joe been arround for way more than 25 years. Try since 1964 |

I could see that as being Destro's mask. The wierd-looking "teeth" could be replaced with, well, teeth, and Destro's mask could have a "Skull" vibe to it. It could be a Cobra Trooper, which could also be fairly cool.

Well, I have officially lost all hope for this movie. Excluding Snake eyes, they all look Horrible!!! I knew they would do something like this. Lemme see.. The baroness has no cobra logo, storm shadow by far looks the worst, I mean where's the hood? Duke, ripcord, scarlett, and Hawk look okay.. Still, why the leather suits? Hopefully destro will look good.

We all have that freedom in this country. We are all here to talk about Joe, good or bad. Period. There are no JOE police therefore no need to get annoyed over what people opinions are. No need to counter or attack. It proves nothing because again, we're all here because we want to talk or read about all things pertaining to Joe, good or bad.

All the futuristic stuff is what eventually killed the series. I mean the comic stayed pretty good the whole time. But even by the end of that they got too far gone. Like zartan could change into anything (wolves ect..). Aren't we supposed to learn from our mistakes? All real military gear would be great. Infact the real militay has stuff more si-fi looking than those suits. The suits just look stupid, even to a kid I would think.

that's not true, though. I know for a fact that there are guys working on the movie and working on the toyline that are no different than you and I. it is possible they are even members on this board. sure, you and I are not working on them, but our fellow Joe fans are.
