I had a pretty big collection of SIGMA SIX, and loved the interchangeable gear and outfits, which is something I really love about Classified now, and I dug the updates on some of the figures, like FIREFLY and the BAT.

Completely agree. They were so well made and attention to detail was top notch. Design wise ya either love it or HATE it. Never heard of anyone that didn't have a total love/hate reaction.

Well, never say never, I'm ambivalent. While the aesthetic from the ground up is 100% not for me, I do respect how creative they were, and they were at their core VERY good toys. Design choices aside, I think that a large part of my negative feelings towards them are the same that I had for Sgt. Savage, Extreme, new sculpt, 25th-50th, and even 12"- simply put, they are not ARAH o-ring.

I didn't like Sigma 6 because it ended the DTC line, until I got the figures in my hands

I didn't like Classified because I thought it caused the end of the retro line until I got my first figure then I was like, "oh, this is ok I guess"

Yeah, I think there were two tiers, basic Soldier figures at $10, and deluxe Commando figures at $15.

$10 and $15, for 8" figures with tons of modular accessories, many of which fired missiles, etc.

Just a completely different world...

Honestly, might have sold more units than Classified ever has as a line. Just a completely different market back then.
