Am I the only one that whenever an old thread gets resurrected, I just see the thread title and assume it's something new and wonder, "What is this?" lol

I saw 8" Snake Eyes figure and thought it was something new. Obviously as soon as you open the thread it's obvious it's old, but it's funny how every time it gets me!

Brett, it looks like you were active on the forum way back when. What was the general reaction to Sigma 6?

Ooooh, it has been a long time. But from what I recall it was a mixed reaction, but I'd say more people probably disliked it than liked it on here. I think most people on here were not too keen on it, but then there were also people who were really excited to have a new Joe line. If I remember right, a lot of Joe fans didn't like the larger scale or size at all. I vividly remember a couple of Tankers here would post customs and pics all the time and some of them looked really darn good.

I just remember that once the 25th line hit that summer of '07, nearly everyone on here completely forgot about Sigma6 overnight.

Some 'Tankers on here that have been here since then might remember more details or have some stories.

It's interesting how by that time the Sigma 6 branding had been replaced with ARAH:

It always looked like a really fun line. Heavily stylized and definitely the biggest departure from what we were used to for G.I. Joe at that time and up to that point, or ever since.

Lenny did mention the possibility of eventually getting Sigma 6 into Classified in his YT discussion with Lawrence from A Punk with Toys last month. I'm not very familiar with the Sigma 6 line in terms of who is in the lineup, but were there any new characters from that line? Wondering if we ever do get any Sigma 6, who would they probably do.

I?m slowly rebuilding a small Sigma 6 collection now. It is one of my favorite Joe lines. I hated it when it came out but once I had one of them, it changed completely.

Although the name was used for the Gijoe Extreme leader, the Sigma 6 character was completely different.
