Wow, these are really nice. The faces are so much better than 25 years ago. I like how the bandoliers/weapons straps on Flint, Duke, and Roadblock are actual parts and not painted on like the old ones.

It's too bad that the Cobra trooper and officer have to be bald, it seems like they could've painted the head in some style.

It might be sacriledge to say it, but I almost like these better than the old ones. Can't wait to get my mitts on them.

I was floored and cracked up when I saw that pic of Duke lunging after the cobras. Awesome pic.
I whipped out my star wars figures, and I'm seriously thinking that the new joes are similar to the star wars figures both in materials, and articulation. Just add ball joint hips and 1 more knee joint to any of the VOTC figures, and you basically have an anniversary star wars frankenjoe. Anyone with both super articulated star wars and the anniversary joes able to confirm the similarities? I am excited for these figures. Even if they are different from the old.

If these are anything similar to the current star wars figures in the above formentioned aspects, I will be prepared for the joes I buy, and probably not dissapointed. It is a different feel from the original joes sure, but it doesn't detract from how good a new figure could potentially be.

Nice work on the reviews Justin, and your pics/reviews are great as usual. That pic of Duke is priceless.

Shin, you nailed it right on the head. I was fortunate enough to score a 25th Scarlett from our fearless leader a few weeks ago, and I can say without a doubt that they are constructed almost exactly like the latest SW figs.

and Hawk...although I'm sure the thanks are appreciated, your work always speaks for itself, paesan. ;)
