I can't get any kind of help from Wal-Mart employees. I went to them with the SKU's from Mongoose's receipt and they acted like it would be useless to input the numbers into their little PDA/LRT. Though at Target (in which I worked for 3 years) the only thing you need to do is...
1. Call your nearest Target Store. 2. Ask the operator to put you through to Guest Service. 3. Tell the Guest Service person you have the DPCI for a certain item (5-pks; 087-06-1908, singles 087-06-0021). Don't immediately tell them what the item is because the name of it will come up if they type the #'s in correctly. They should confirm with you the item your looking for (G.I.Joe 25th Anni...?), and you ask if they have any available. If no, you can ask them to check all the other stores in the area as well. I used to work there and it really is no trouble to do that for a customer at all. Any employee who acts like it is or gives you any attitude should be reported to the Store Team Leader (STL). I've called twice in the past week, and yes, the 25th annie products are definetly in Target's system. |

I do believe the rumor about Wal-Mart's big G.I.Joe end-cap/isle display though. Wal-Mart has the exclusive 12" Adventure Team remakes hitting soon, and they usually make a big deal over things like that. They'll probably put the 12" AT, 8" AT, and 25th's all together on the display.
Sigh*. I am going to spend a lot of money that day. |

For those of you that do not know the list we are talking about:
65356928936 Blade Destro 65356928932 Snow Job 65356928934 Flash 65356928935 Snake Eyes Black 65356928931 Crimson Guard 65356929251 Armor CC 65356929253 Torpedo 65356929254 Major Bludd 65356929252 Rock N Roll 65356929255 Wild Bill These figures are Confirmed. I have no clue who roguetiger is or his friend that works at WalMart and it could very well be they took the listings out of the computer but these figure will be showing up next year. Blade Destro is: The upgraded 1988 style Iron Grenadiers Leader uniform, Gold Vac-Metal Head and a Molded Flowing Red Cape, Destro is once again ready with Battle Blade Saber in hand to take command of his elite core of Iron Grenadiers. The cape is Molded and not made from cloth and it looks like its blowing in the wind.

Judging by the description, this figure will look awesome displayed on a stand with saber in air, and IG's behind him in large masses. The flowing cape sounds awesome.

As for Rogue, he has been a member of the joe custom boards for a while and I have traded with him several times, I would consider him a straight up guy. |

Im sure Rogue is a good guy I did not mean for it to sound any other way. Just know that the next round of figures are going to blow you guys away.

Yeah, the original guy who reported these sightings provided tons of scans of printed labels (that I can confirm were NOT Photoshopped) and other details, that's why I ran with the story initially. I personally consider this assortment confirmed.
Thanks for the info, Destro! Justin |
