- Two sets of hands (three sets is kind of overkill, imo) - Revolver with shoulder holster - H&K MP5 SMG with 4-5 clips - Satchel bag with charges - Some kind of Gerber Multitool or Leatherman (though I don't know how "workable" it would be in that scale!) - Headlamp - Army flashlight (the crooked neck style I mean, like what the original figure had) - The usual frag/smoke grenade loadout - Ammo belt - Scoped MG (though I'm not sure which kind would be the most appropriate - maybe a tricked out FN Minimi/SAW?)... I think that, other than in your case, Trooper13, there'd be a lot of complaints if this was the exclusive accessory. I think a better one would be the headlamp, or the Multitool with an exclusive hand using the Multitool, sort of like SE with his punch dagger. I would also love to see his big rucksack but Sideshow hasn't been doing much in the way of packs, and I'm sure I could track down an aftermarket one if I really wanted to. Besides, the backpacks aren't all that essential, imo.

Here's what I think a Sideshow Tunnel Rat should come with:

On TR, while I think they should update his explosives from the TNT, and I think they'd pass on the ruck, the satchel would be a very cool accessory, especially if it had a few side pockes for things like timers, ect. I guess I just fall into the camp of liking the more updated look of some of the Sideshow stuff. I think Firefly looks like one of the best figures I've ever seen. The only thing that kind of puts me off on this Flint is the face. The new pics definitely help, but it still doesn't look like Flint to me. Flint never struck me as the "grizzled" type. With Duke I could kind of see it, He's a soldier's soldier. However, Flint was always kind of the slick guy, to me...kind of like the Bond films tried to do with Dalton's version of Bond, but actually pulling it off. I guess it's just a matter of taste.

Well, the MP5 would definitely be an improvement on the MG, however I would still think a sawed off shotgun would be more practical in a tight space. Horses for courses, and all that, I guess. While alot of people might have a problem with the MG being part of the exclusive, isn't that precisely what they did with Flint? Making his vintage weapon, the exclusive? Heck it isn't even the correct model for the ARAH, or the 25th, it's a completely different shotgun.
I agree that the sawed-off shotgun makes a lot of sense for Tunnel Rat, but shotguns almost seem "special" in GI Joe - for those few that had them, like Flint or Falcon, they were part of the character's iconic look. Yeah, it comes down to personal preference. In the end, we can all just give them what we want anyway. Hot Toys and a ton of other companies make pretty much any weapon you could think of in 1/6th scale. I'm thinking about trying to obtain some backpacks for the figures, not sure where to start though...

That is true (although I don't mind that it was a slightly different weapon). They kind of did it with Storm Shadow, too. For many, because the nunchucks were originally included in the '84 figure, it was an essential item.
