Look at the cover for Cobra II #4. Definately got the answer on it being the new CC design I'd say.
Really really liking what IDW is doing.

Put this up in a previous post, but the Joe comics are deveolping good plots and make you feel like you want the next issue to see what new character is going to have the spotlight next. Robert Akins versions of Beach and Tripwire....very cool.
Anybody notice also in issue 12 the R2 D2 head hidden in page 6?

Another lackluster month. I'm dropping Origins as no matter what color he is I'm not interested in 2 months of the origin of Ripcord. Cobra II looks good but even the main book is moving slow for me. I may drop them all when Hama returns with the new (old?) ARAH book. I just can't justify 3 month joe books with the occasion mini too.

I didn't chime in that thread, but I totally agreed with people not liking at all the Beachhead Origins cover art... I hear what some people are saying about it being a style that others may not like. In general, I agree, but I think these covers are examples of three drawing different styles (excluding the movie photos), and they all either achieve that style's look more effectively, or they are just styles better suited to the medium.
The end result, IMO, is three different drawing styles that all beat the hell outta the Beachhead Origins covers.
